Breathtaking Wildness on Ireland's Atlantic Coast
Escape from it all in our beautiful private hideaway overlooking the sea and mountains, surrounded by wildness, birds, and shared by our wild ponies.
Our cottage has two lovely double bedrooms, bathroom with shower and bath, fully equipped kitchen/diner and a living/dining room with stunning southerly views, over Tullaghan Bay and the Nephin Beg mountains.
Five minutes walk to the rocky wildlife shore, five minutes drive to the wide sandy beach at Doohoma Head, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The area is a 'dark sky zone' where on clear nights looking up at the stars makes you dizzy!!
Across the bay you can see one of 'The Pirate Queen's' famous castles.
Beach-comb on our private shoreline amongst 5,000 year old tree roots from Ireland's ancient forests
.
Climb the holy mountain of Croagh Patrick, or walk the Bangor trail over mountain trails and sheep tracks.
But above all drink up the peace and quiet!
