Lakeview Lodge-Near Lake Michigan, and Michigan Adventures- Pet Friendly

Great Lakes Lodge is a great, year-round lodge designed for those who are looking for a peaceful Northwoods escape! This cabin has a large, fully equipped kitchen, and a large porch for relaxing in the woods. This year-round cabin has five bedrooms. Three rooms have a bunk bed with a top twin bed and full bottom bed. The other two rooms have a bunk bed with two twin beds and a bunk bed with a top twin bed and full bottom bed. There are three bathrooms that have a toilet, sink and shower. The cabin has large windows that open to catch the summer lake breeze from Echo Lake. There is also an established fire pit nestled behind the lodge in the woods.



We're located in Twin Lake, Michigan. We are 3 hours from Chicago, 3 hours from Detroit, an hour from Grand Rapids, and 30 minutes from the Cross Lake Ferry that runs Milwaukee to Muskegon.

Guests have access to Lake Echo, a non-motorized lake when a Camp Pinewood Lifeguard is on duty for swimming and boating. In addition to swimming, we have canoes, kayaks and row boats.


We are a short drive from some of the best that West Michigan has to offer: Muskegon State Park, Michigan Adventures, Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park, Canoe and raft trips down the Muskegon River, Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo, Silver Lake Dunes and so much more!

The fall leaf season is nothing short of spectacular! Stay with us and enjoy our scenery, trails, and kayaks or use us as a base to explore some of the other fall foliage near us.


Great Lakes Lodge is part of YMCA Family Camp Pinewood that will be celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2025. Our properties are designed for families, friends, couples, or individuals who are looking for a quiet West Michigan, Manistee Forest experience.
