Close to shops and good enough
Papaya is close to the north beach and the shops, but quite a long way from the more popular south beach. The free WiFi really only works reliably outside the rooms because these are shipping containers and the metal walls interfere. The rooms were very basic with okay beds, and the breakfast was good.

Pousada zero conforto. Além de chuveiro ruim, mangueirinha do chuveiro pendurada bem no centro do chuveiro (nao fica paralela a parede) e caindo a todo instante. Os quartos possuem portas de vidro e a pousada fica toda iluminada durante a noite, a cortina não veda a iluminação. Portanto, dorme-se com alta claridade no quarto! O quarto é BEEEM pequeno! O atendimento não é nada além de satisfatório. Café da manhã normal. Pelo preço, decepcionante. Já fiquei em pousadas melhores, pelo mesmo custo na cidade.

It was a great experience from the check in to the check out. The staff was friendly and provided outstanding customer service. Plus the breakfast and location that were exceptional as well. I'm definitely staying there again next time I'm in Ubachuva 😁

Great place to stay
This is a great place to stay and it's very unique. It's within walking distance to restaurants, shops, the aquarium and the beach. Praia Tenório is the best beach to go to and it's just a 10 minute Uber ride. The breakfast was good, rooms were small but clean. When I return to Ubatuba, I will definitely stay again.

Do not stay here!
Worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The room is built inside a container, bedsheets are of worst quality and smaller than the beds. The cleaner never came the first day. The bathroom door's locker felt down on the hand of the personal who showed us the room and it was not fixed for 3 days. So we could not close the door and if we did we got stuck in the bathroom. The shower is very weak and no possibilty to choose the temperature. The breakfast is not different than the room, poor quality and even fruits offered were not ready to eat. Air-condition sounds like a airplan motor. The lamp is hanging from the ceiling where we se hole. There are also holes on the wall where I guess we're supposed to be hangers.

A pousada é bem legal porém não gostei do estacionamento. Minha estada foi durante período de chuva e o local descoberto destinado aos carros virou uma lama; também esqueci uma janela do carro aberta, e ninguém da pousada viu, apesar de terem me garantido que havia câmeras e segurança cuidando dos veículos.

Ficamos apenas uma noite mas tudo foi bem, recepção simpática e café da manhã bem simples mas tudo muito gostoso. Entretanto, como o nome já diz, os quartos são containers, o que limita bem o conforto e o espaço, portanto não espere luxo. Tudo limpinho, muito perto de tudo na região do Itagua. Localização muito boa

Sem aviso sobre falta de café da manhã
Uma pousada muito simples, com as instalações em containers - que é uma ideia bacana. Mas a vedação de luminosidade no quarto é ruim e o quarto fica “claro” a noite toda. A cama de casal era extremamente mole - para nosso gosto, muito ruim e me fez mal para as costas no dia seguinte. E quando chegamos fomos informados que não haveria possibilidade de servir café da manhã em função da pandemia, usando como argumento que todos os hotéis e pousadas assim estava instruídos e atuando. Achei um pouco absurdo pois não havia uma identificação clara sobre isso no agendamento e estávamos, naturalmente, contando com isso em função da tarifa de 340 reais que estávamos pagando. No dia seguinte ficamos num outro local na praia da toninhas, por 10 reais a mais, e o café da manhã foi servido - de maneira individualizada e não em mesa farta mas foi adaptado a situação atual e mantido como conforto do hóspede. Fica a dica de analisar a concorrência para a pousada que, por sua vez, não tem nada como diferencial e particularmente não vejo nenhum motivo para retornar. Nada que desabone por completo também...mas nenhum encantamento pelo local.
