The popular market town of Ulverston is just 5 miles away and offers an array of local restaurants, traditional pubs, boutique shopping and most famous for it’s remarkable Buddhist Temple. The town has many events and festivals on throughout the year!

Close by, you can enjoy the Lakeland Motor Museum, South Lakes Zoo, Go Ape and the Lakes Aquarium. You can also take a ride on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway or take a boat cruise across Lake Windermere.
