Easy walk to downtown. Lake view is so pretty.very quiet place.

Never in my life have I experienced such courteous and friendly staff as dedicated as the ones at this hotel. We went there to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and the staff provided a birthday card signed by the whole staff as well as a couple of freshly made pieces of cheesecake that they stuck in our mini fridge while we were out shopping. The property itself is gorgeous, very elegant. The rooms were very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. We ended up having breakfast at the in hotel restaurant and it was amazing. Whenever we travel back to Saranac this is exactly where we will be staying again!

My daughter and I stayed here on a quick trip to hike in the ADKs. Because we were there off season the hotel was more affordable than usual. It’s a beautiful hotel with a lot to do (way more in the summer). It’s right in the heart of Placid and allows you easy access to all of the shops and restaurants.

The Devlin transports you back in time with essence of a classic 80s motor lodge kept clean and organized in 2025! My family has been staying at the Devlin for years, and will for many years to come!

Great location. Grand lobby. Wonderful vistas. Lake Placid history and modern vibe come together for a great experience.
