In the kitchen, a large picture window over the sink lets in natural light that reflects off the light-colored Silestone countertop that was subtly repeated in other details throughout the space, including the powder room.
The black and white kitchen cabinets contrast nicely with the stainless steel appliances and cabinet pulls to keep the look sleek, clean and well balanced. A large cabinet houses the small appliances to keep clutter to a minimum.
In the sitting room everything is streamlined in a spacious vanity outfitted with multiple drawers to enable surfaces to remain clutter-free. A grey and blue rug adorns the floor, bringing a cool splash of color to the design, while a glass coffee table gives the room the classic details that make the room unique.
A palette of cream is employed to permeate the whole house; this was then layered with accent pieces, pictures and rich details to achieve an overall calming effect,
In both bedrooms, nightstands are kept clutter-free while wall sconces step in for table lamps. The windows skip fussy treatments in favor of blackout curtains.
In the second bedroom, a space-saving Murphy bed can be lifted up against the wall during the day and concealed by the custom façade. Having the floor space as open as possible allows for multiplicity of use and takes advantage of every square inch. A dropdown desk further enhances the functionality of this room.
Pacific Spirit House makes the most of its small footprint through a combination of high-tech functionality and Zen philosophy including energy efficiency circulating air flow and electric heating.
