The entrance of the hotel was nice. The staff who checked me in rushed the process and pretty much tossed the card at me. He told me it was $9 a day for parking. There was an event going on (maybe a holiday party?) and very, very little parking the first night. The second night was another party of sorts and there was ZERO parking. There was even cars parked along all the areas marked no parking, including right in front of the lobby doors. I had to wait in my car for 20-30 mins, driving back and forth in the lots to wait for someone to leave. Once I checked out I learned via my credit card that parking is $12, not the $9 he told me on check in. If you are scent sensitive, do not stay here. They pump an artificial vanilla type scent all through the halls of the hotel. It was there all of the time, and was seeping into the room. The room was poorly cleaned. The phone had some sort of spill stain all over it, and there was mysterious weird splatters on the walls. The mini fridge did not work. The light on the balcony could not be turned off and lit up the room even with the drapes closed. The one thing that was good about the stay was the bed and pillows were decently comfortable, and the linens were clean. When I checked out they asked how my stay was and I told them about the parking issues and was given a 'aww sorry'. I asked for a copy of the bill and wasn't sent one. I have called and got one and it appears it is $9.30 plus misc get and parking tax = $12

I booked a double queen studio and was surprised at how tiny the room was. Upon entering the room, the hallway is extremely long and leads to a tiny space where the two beds are. Minimal space and a tiny bathroom with no counter space. Probably the most confined I've ever felt in a hotel room (especially one that is supposed to be a suite). There were three of us, which is why I booked a room with two beds and they charged us for an extra person. No complimentary coffee or water in the lobby. The rooms are outdated, but they are trying to make the lobby and dining area look nice. I would not stay here again.

Great location, short walk to the skytrain for easy access downtown whilst staying in a place with lighter traffic and easy, ample and cheap uncovered parking. Staff were very friendly and there’s an upscale appearance to the property in most areas. My only complaint is that I stayed in a suite designed to sleep 4, had cup/cutlery for 4, tons of extra tissues/TP ect but they only give you one tiny conditioner/shampoo for the whole room
