Booked accommodation here for a work trip in Vancouver in November. Arrived at the airport where I was supposed to have a shuttle pickup, after trying to call the hotel multiple times since the shuttle wasn't at the airport and then texting the contact number that I was Ubering to the hotel since there was no shuttle and I can't get a hold of anyone, I was texted back that they had a "major issue at their site and were forced to close for a few days, there is no one at the location so do not go there." 10:30 pm and I was forced to find alternate accommodation with zero warning, with many hotels having no availability. Expedia tried to get in touch with the host to ask what happened and request a refund since I never stayed at the property; the host did not return their calls/messages even though he had told me he would resolve this issue and refund my charge. 3 months later and still no refund or resolution.

Place was fully empty, we knocked and called for 30 minutes. Neighbours came over and told us they have emptied the place and moved out a couple nights before. I called and dealt with Hotels.com customer service and I’m shocked to see this place is still even up on the site. Do not book this as they are no longer there.

DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS HERE!
Showed up at our scheduled time to find the property was vacant. Looked through the windows and saw no furniture in the house. The lock on the door had been completely removed. Tried contacting the number provided and was unable to reach anyone. We ended up having to contact Hotels.com to place us in a new location. Weird thing was that we had received emails and texts from Suite Smart confirming our check in on the day of arrival. Also received emails on our scheduled check out date even though we never actually checked in…must be some automated system. This property needs to be removed from all booking websites.

We took a cab from downtown Vancouver only to find 3536 Quenel Drive empty. The managers cleaned it out two days before we got there. I am out 276.00 and am not happy at all. It was called suitesmart Vancouver. When will i receive my refund? Terry Harwood 250-714-3559

Great location, beautiful home. Really nice rooms. The host Dwayne, was really friendly and cooked us an amazing breakfast. There were other guests there but we didnt hear or see them until we were leaving, so privacy was not an issue at all. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely B/B in the heart of a residential neighborhood with breathtaking views of the downtown and mountains all around. Quiet and restful, while within minutes of plentiful restaurants and public transportation that can take you anywhere. Beautiful, well-kept facility, friendly proprietors -- breakfasts are delicious feasts!

An absolute gem. Dwain met us at the airport and took us to his establishment. Everything went smoothly and he was most welcoming. I couldn't recommend our experience more. Definitely on the list next time we're in Vancouver.

A very unique and well appointed micro hotel in a beautiful Vancouver neighbourhood. Service was personal and thoughtful, breakfast was amazing and our two children felt very welcome. It was a shame we only had one night as a stopover. There were a few details that needed a bit of maintenance, but relatively insignificant and nothing that would change my 5 stars overall.

We were amazed to find this beautiful accommodation in Vancouver, however trying to check in was a challenge. I don’t think the doorbell works to ring inside the house. We also knocked and pounded on the door off and on for two hours before we were let in. No apologies extended. Trying to contact the managers by phone, text, email was futile. Even Expedia were unable to contact them. Once inside, we were relieved to find a gorgeous suite and outstanding breakfasts. We were double billed on our credit card with two different amounts. Once again having extreme difficulty contacting them to rectify this was almost impossible, only to be reimbursed for the incorrect, higher amount. Again, no apologies. If you don’t mind this aggravation, the location, suite and breakfasts are amazing! My recommendation to the managers would be to vastly improve their communication!

Our room had the most comfortable bed with the softest sheets. The ensuite bathroom had a huge walk-in shower. We only stayed for a quick overnight so didn’t get to experience all that was offered. Our host went out of the way to make us coffee and had a nice continental breakfast spread for us at 5am. We would definitely like to stay again.

No one answered the bell they told us to ring when we arrived.We texted to the number we had and just got a Sorry, not available reply. We waited for almost a half hour and then phoned Expedia. We did not realize this was a B&B we thought we were going to a hotel. Don't know how that happened. The fellow finally came out looking like he just got out of bed in socks, short shorts and a ripped ,dirty T shirt. He said well the batteries are dead in our door bell and you should have knocked ....also he forgot to take his phone off do not disturb...sorry. When we came back from dinner he was painting our bathroom door but he said don't worry..it'l dry fast. The bathroom had a combination lock on it and I was afraid in the middle of the night I might forget the number and be stuck so I just left the bathroom door open. The coffee machine in our room didn't work and when we told them, we were told we should have just unplugged it and plugged it back in to reset...who knew? Breakfast was good. The place was nice enough but the experience was not.
