The Sutton Hotel was perfect for our stay in Vancouver. The location was amazing had great shopping and dining all around. It was clean and the staff was always helpful. Highly recommend.

Love how this hotel is conveniently located by Robson Street. The room is clean and the washroom is super relaxing, love the floor mat and L'Occitane toiletries. The front desk staff are helpful. There are complimentary bottled water in the room to stay hydrated. Overall a very pleasant stay and just as good as Sutton Place in Toronto, although not as spacious.

The carpets were stained throughout the property. There was a large stain on the carpet right beside the bed which looked like vomit. It was not cleaned prior to them checking us in. Very disappointing for such an expensive place

Everything about our stay was great. Don’t expect early check in, while staff did their best to accommodate there was a ton of people requesting early check in (including myself by an hour). They will take your number and call if your room is ready early and offer the lobby while you wait. Staff was very nice. Oh and DO NOT pick anything up or move anything not just in the fridge but in the food and drink basket area above that lookalike it’s included-it’s not and they’re on sensors that automatically bill your credit card.

We used to stay across the street at a different property but have been let down our last few visits. We changed it up- and wanted to stay close because we love how central the location is- and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend! Some inconveniences: no microwave, even in a common area. Nespresso machine leaked. Fridge held only purchasable items, no room for things I brought with me. TV channels did not always show what the guide said it would. Odd placement of towel rack in front of sink, had to lean in but that put the towel rack on your crotch (when you're short like me). Low water pressure in bathroom. Definitely old money feel that never upgraded- like why no water bottle refill stations? Great staff though, no compliments there.
