Historic place with tiny rooms and bathrooms. Decent location on the edge of the city near transportation hubs. Helpful staff. The AC couldn't keep up with this summer's heat wave.

The hotel is well located and very convenient to the train station. Being outside the Grand Canal main tourist area it provides a respite from the crowds. Most everything is within easy walking distance with a Vaporetto stop nearby. Added bonus, the AC works extremely well. We visited Venice during a heat wave. The hotel and our room provided a welcoming refuge from the heat when returning from site seeing.

The hotel is bit old, room is not big enough. Service is good especially free drinking waters in mini bar. Location is perfect, closed to bus station terminal and train station within walking distance. Convenient to buy drink and food, many good restaurants along the river nearby.

We loved it!
Wonderful place very close to the train station. The hotel has air conditioning and an elevator which can be hard to find in Italy. It’s only about 30 minute walk to San Marco Square/Doge’s Palace. Lots of eateries close as well as boutiques and farmers markets in the squares. Spacious bathroom with a wonderful shower and stunning canal view!

Brilliant! Make this property your first option
The entire experience from check-in, stay sane checkout was brilliant. Jamme at reception was a star, he had is in our room within 5 minutes of arrival and made a kettle available even though it was almost midnight. The room, bedding and everything else at the property was spotless and functional. It is well located too.

The room was clean, the bathroom was updated. The front personel was pleasant. Free breakfast at sister hotel had plenty of food, nicely decorated hotel as well and also pleasant staff. My only regret is that it was only one night on way home from cruise. Hotel walking distance to bus, train and water taxi--very convenient: and yet hotel area nice and quiet.

Remember that in venice you have to drag your luggage with you so you want a hotel near the transportation hub, so This hotel is very close to the train station, bus station, and main boat stations, so it makes it so much easier to do a short walk to leave luggage in hotel and then immediately enjoy Venice.
