Fantastic hotel in the heart of Venice. We booked one of their premium rooms which was massive and overlooked the canals where Gondolas travelled through. An older hotel but with lots of charm. Breakfast was light. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nightmare hotel
This was the most horrible experience I had with any hotel! This hotel is not safe to even be open, it had mold in many places of the room, we tried to leave a google review but we were blocked due to the current pictures taken. They took us to the building across the check in area, windows was on an alley lots of noise no ac working, nobody answered the phone when we called to complaint. Booked a canal view but they switched it to an alley room in a different building. This was my first time in Venice and I would not recommend anyone to go here!,

This hotel is not what is pictured. There are apparently two different parts, one of which is much older (and which overlooks the canal). The older part is just that - much, much older and outdated. The walls are paper thin, so you will hear your neighbor’s every move. The bed is two twins put together, with some sad, flat pillows. If you need to use the wardrobe or the bureau, you will find it old and likely broken. Same with the A/C, though you can try to open the windows for some ventilation and hear everyone talking outside by the gondolas. Don’t bother with breakfast; even though it’s included, I didn’t go after the first day because the food is so bad (and there are plenty of cheap options in that neighborhood that are far better).

Front desk except the person who checked us in were unprofessional to the point of being rude. Breakfast was really bad they were out of dishes and silverware both days we had to wait until they washed a few while I was standing by the kitchen door and it was hand washed not sanitized at all. They said they didn’t have extra blanket for me. The lobby was like a zoo, large groups of cruse passengers checking in and out. Will not recommend it to anyone more like a two star hotel. Stayed two nights with my partner.

Unfortunately we had a few items missing from our luggage; just some gifts for folks back home - I discovered early morning on the day we were leaving. Not much we could do about it. The hotel was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Location was good in that we were close to the water ferry and San Marco Piazza. Lots of people in this area so if you are not an early riser ask for a room away from the water/gondolas.

Room was large and comfy with view of gondolas and canal. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Breakfast was not great. Facility is dated but clean. Very pleasant stay overall! Water taxi service at hotel is only available during low tide. GREAT taxi service when it’s low tide!

Overall - manageable for 1 day trip if plan to use for sleep only as shower is so tiny one can hardly fit inside. Room has no tea/coffee maker and doesn't worth paying for breakfast.

A great Place To Stay!!!!
This is a wonderful hotel. Everyone that worked there were so friendly and the location was perfect!!!!! The view we had was of the gondola boarding area and The Hard Rock Cafe. Super cool! Ok.... there are a few "not so perfects". 1. The bed and pillows are both flat and hard. 2. The bathtub/shower is very small. At 5'4 and 120lbs, I struggled. 3. If you open the windows, look forward to Mosquitoes. That can't be avoided when you're on the water. Overall, the pros are way more than the cons and I'd definitely stay there again!!!
