Great hotel and a great location. Staff was helpful, courteous and professional. Their breakfast was a perfect start to our day. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone. Thanks Again and see you next time Foscari!

Superb central location. Staff were effective and efficient. Room clean and well maintained. Breakfast is fine. I read some worrying reviews before I arrived. I found none of the problems mentioned by others - but then I wasn't there is the height of summer. Just need to remember you're staying in an historic palazzo, not a new build. And isn't that why you're going to Venice?

A fantastic location! We were able to walk to the main sites and catch water buses with ease. There was even a gondolier stand beside the hotel. Our superior room was both large and clean and the breakfasts were good quality. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved it
The location is wonderful, facing the Grand Canal and right next to a boulevard full of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Very convenient to get to from Marco Polo airport using the taxiboats with a walk of about 10 minutes. The atmosphere in general is charming and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and spacious for these old buildings.

Staff was lovely, easy to get to via shared water taxi, excellent location, nice breakfast, bed was comfortable, everything in bathroom was in working order. Loved that there is a safe in the room. Good cappuccino and assortment of fruit, pastries, cheese and meats for breakfast. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.

Cannot think of a better location to explore the city. Spacious rooms, very helpful staff, daily cleaning, breakfast buffet. In addition, it’s prime location, so easy to access the hotel and everything is within 15 minutes‘ walk. The only improvement I would suggest is that some of the equipment is outdated. Other than that, we absolutely loved it!

Great position with roof top views a small Platform with 4 tables over the grand canal was nice. Room we had was quite small but bed was very large a super king size or even bigger was very comfortable.. breakfast could be better very little in the way of warm food not even a toaster. Ask for a coffee as the cofffee machine wasn’t the best..

Grand hotel on Grand Canal, but no so Grand upkeep
Wonderful location on the Grand Canal, close to vaporetto and traghetto stop. Good breakfast selection. Great rooftop terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. Front desk staff overall very friendly, except for one middle age gentleman. Washroom needs updating. Rust along shower/bath enclosure, faucets mismatched, vanity counter top broken and chipped. Good water pressure and good hot water. Room too warm and unable to turn on air conditioning since the hotel already disengage the air conditioning system. Windows do open but no screens so mosquitos became a problem.

Very welcoming on arrival, clean and well presented hotel, sat out on the terrace and had a drink while our room was getting ready, lovely seating area out to watch the gondolas go by! Room was clean but few little things, coat hook was missing from behind the door, screw still in wall… knob missing from one of wardrobe doors, few other little niggles but nothing that would stop me from recommending or going back to the hotel. Complementary breakfast was outstanding every day as was the service from the staff at breakfast time nothing was too much trouble and selection was plentiful!

We really liked this hotel. The private water taxi dropped us off outside the hotel. Room clean and quiet. Don’t open windows as mosquitoes come in. Breakfast lovely and plenty to choose from. Lovely cafe called Sophia on the corner of the Main Street. About a 20 minute walk to the Basilica. It would have been good if the hotel had allowed guests to use the coffee machine through the day but they didn’t. When you’ve been walking all day and up and down those bridges a hot drink when you get back would have been lovely.

I'd like to for sure recognize the afternoon desk attendent for being attentive and kind. I dont have her name, but she jad eastern/asain heritage and was great. Everything else was not. The manager was not kind did not care about our experience. The room was not good or comfortable. We could not increase the heat and the shower soaked the entire bathroom. Would not recommend.
