Watch the sunrise over the coastal mountains with your morning coffee and the sunset on the ocean over evening cocktails – all from the spacious front deck.

The master bedroom sits on the waterfront. The large bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Ocean-view living room offers a 50-inch flat screen T.V. with expanded cable package, HBO and wireless internet access. Easy switch gas cast iron stove. Outdoor shower, BBQ, and covered parking for 1-2 cars.

Access to the beach and the exposed tide pools directly in front of the house is through a nearby gate. Sand beaches close by are perfect for surfing, kayaking, fishing, and boogie boarding, (one 9-foot single kayak and one 2-person kayak, 5 boogie boards, a stand up paddle board and 2 surf boards provided). Explore the beach for miles hunting for shells, rocks and sea glass. Dolphins are regularly seen and whales are seen during winter months.

A private tennis court and a children’s playground are available for your use (tennis racquets provided). We provide 3 bicycles for coastal rides on new bike path. Short walk to gourmet snack stand at Faria County Park and a 10-minute drive to dining and shopping in Ventura and 30 minutes to Santa Barbara.

Lovely beach getaway
My family and I live in Santa Monica in a house 26 blocks from the beach. We are close, but not close. I loved falling asleep at the Faria house to the sound of the waves and waking to the sun on the water. We saw amazing sunsets and quite a few dolphin sightings. My family and I had a magical Thanksgiving week at the house. I’m still glowing from the warmth the house exudes…. Hope to return soon!!

Awesome Beach Front Home
It was so nice to meet Alicia upon our arrival. She was so welcoming and talking with her was like visiting with an old friend. We enjoyed 9 wonderful days relaxing in this beautiful home. Much of our time was spent walking on the beach, hanging out on the patio enjoying our meals and watching for dolphins and seals.Her home and the views are amazing. Serenity at Faria Beach
We enjoyed the perfect beach cottage getaway at Faria Beach. Watching dolphins and surfers while relaxing on the patio was great. We took walks along the coast and watched the birds dive into the ocean for food. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were warm and cozy! We definitely will be back!

Perfect beachside escape!
We had the best time here! The location is amazing by the rocks and tidepools with the sound of the waves crashing. The house had everything we needed and Alicia was the best host ever!! Thank you for opening your wonderful home! Like a previous review said – it’s hard to turn away from the ocean. We called it Faria TV because we never wanted to do anything else! We hope to be back again next year.

Perfection!
Alicia’s home is like staying at a top luxury beach front resort but with a feeling of a loved and cozy family home. The distance to the ocean, crashing waves, surfers and pelicans was literally at the sea wall. We brought books, a puzzle & painting supplies but they went untouched because we couldn’t look away from the ocean. The house is super clean, comfy and very roomy! The only outing we did on our 3 night stay was to visit the Mission in Ventura, eat lunch at Paradise Pantry for killer grilled cheese sandwiches. We will definitely be returning and spending more time here! Alicia greeted us and showed us around, she couldn’t be nicer! Thank you for a great stay!!

I Feel Rejuvenated!
I've rented five other beach houses over the years but I've never had such a great welcoming as I did at this beach house. The owner was there to let us in and show us through the 1940s beach house. We loved the charm. It was spacious and we loved sitting at the big round table for meals and visiting. The outdoor area was beautiful with continuous pelicans and fabulous scenery. It's a winner!!

Almost forgot there was a house. Views and the ability to have waves crash right below and to wake up and fall asleep right next to the ocean was perfect. Location was safe, our 4 young kids loved the exploring, some of the best waves to play and surf just 30 seconds away. Overall great spot and plenty of space would go back!

Perfect spot!
If your looking to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean, this is the spot. The tide pools are located just a short walk down the road. My family really enjoyed it here. We can’t wait to go back next summer!

Clean,comfortable and amazing oceanfront views!!
Easy check in with the host and Alicia was very responsive to all my questions. We had a wonderful and relaxing time for our anniversary and also spent time with the family. We cooked a big Louisiana style boil dinner in the kitchen and ate (almost all) our dinners Oceanside. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and kitchen needs. Very comfortable beds and plenty of room all around for families. We played card games and watched movies at night. The tides were high at night and we enjoyed the waves crashing on the sea wall. I found sand dollars down the beach at low tide! I didn’t want to leave! We loved watching the surfers, seals and dolphins cruise by all day. This place has it all! We definitely want to go back! 😍

Fabulous Beach Parsdise
We are truly grateful for Alicia and family for hosting us at their beach home. They were so kind and helpful snd the property is very cozy s d charming. Their home had every beach amenity you could imagine (sand toys, surf boards, paddle boards, bikes, etc). It was such a peaceful stay in a friendly and relaxing neighborhood. We saw dolphins and surfers on the waves and enjoyed many beach walks along the shore. The tide pools were fun to explore for interesting sea life. This location is perfectly situated between our favorite places to visit (Santa Barbara, Ojai and Ventura). Thank you for your incredible hospitality!

Family time getaway
Very peaceful. The host was most accommodating with the ever shifting mandates of Covid. The home had everything that we needed. The land dwelling neighbors were friendly, and the ocean neighbors were kind enough, and close enough to shore, to check in with us every day. In addition to the seals and dolphins we were blessed to see one whale. A highlight for me is that i saw two dolphin surfing While relaxing in the bathtub.

Relaxing Beach House Right on the Water
Location. Location. Location. This 3BR 1BA beach home is at the tip of Pitas Point. We had fun watching surfers, whales, dolphins and seagulls from the huge patio. Beautiful 180 degree view where the mountains meet the sea and Channel Islands are off in the distance. House has everything needed, is comfy and homey and is as pictured. Alicia is a perfect host. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. We want to go back!

Perfect Getaway
This was a wonderful way to spend our spring vacation. Alicia warmly welcomed us and shared about all the things we could do in the neighborhood. We took advantage of all her suggestions and enjoyed the nearby beach, board games, low tides to check out all the sea life, tennis, and dining on the patio while listening to the sounds of the ocean waves. Step back in time and enjoy good clean fun
Alicia communicated clearly ahead of time, and greeted us with enthusiasm. She gave helpful advice including the best ways to walk and bicycle from the house. The house has a relaxing "cabin" feel and included shelves of board games, building blocks, puzzles and books. We never turned the TV on! The beds were cozy and towels were plentiful. The best part of the trip was waking up every morning to the sound and sight of breaking waves.

Classic Beach Cottage
My wife and I spent a delightful three days at this quintessential California beach cottage that was actually at the waters edge. Large waves at high tide would sometimes splash into the patio. The place was as advertised, with period furniture that blended in with the location. Most of our time was spent in the master bedroom that faced the ocean, which had not only the bed but a sitting area for reading. The place had enough books to almost qualify as a library. The kitchen was modern and well-equiped, with plenty of storage for long stays. The cable TV worked well, and the wifi was an excellent 5g system. The other two bedrooms seemed adequate, but we only used them to store clothes and luggage. There is a garage for parking, but no vehicles can be over about 6ft 4in. Lots of water toys in the garage, but we never had a chance to use them. For two of us the place was overkill, but we enjoyed the chance to spread out and not be crowded. The neighborhood was very quiet and serene, and no traffic as the house is on a cul-de-sac. The location allowed quick access to Ventura and Santa Barbara for fun day trips. This property was one of the best we have stayed at in our long VRBO history, and Alicia was a very gracious host.

Never will get enough
We love this little gem. We can not get enough of the amazing ocean that is right behind this property. This is one of our favorite places to visit and are willing to drive 6+ hours to get here. Thank you Alicia for sharing this beautiful space on earth with th rest of us.
