Property is very well kept and clean, very friendly staff but no air conditioning and it was really hot, they did provide extra fans for us, but still it was HOT and also didn't like that you have to pay for parking after paying for the room😒

Easy to come back to rooms that you can relax in. So nice to have a kitchen,dining area, and living room. Convenient in the inner harbour as you can walk to so many attractions in Victoria.

The front desk staff were efficient and friendly. The property is close to the inner harbour for convenience. The parking lot has parking stalls so small that it is impossible to get in and out of any vehicle that is not miniature! The property itself is very clean but definitely in need of modernization. The room was unbearably hot with no AC to provide relief. Our biggest concern was the very poor quality of the bed mattress. We both had sore backs and an uncomfortable night's rest. The basic room has everything you would expect. It is not a place we will return to

Comfortable

We were comfortable and enjoyed having the kitchenette. There were a few things in need of repair however. The window screen fell off and the floor heater had a piece that was bent and loose. The decor could use a refresh but all in all, I’d stay there again. Great location.

Internet was spotty on the 4th floor. No A/C which I couldn’t believe and everything smells old. But bed was comfy and it has a good kitchen area.

Very outdated hotel. Location is amazing, staff were excellent, huge rooms but felt like I was in the 60’s…much needed over haul. Restaurant was the absolute best!

The Royal Scot

The hotel is a little old fashioned and looking dated, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The restaurant was great for breakfast after a considerable wait time , with lovely staff and huge portions! The indoor pool was a nice addition with the little gym ,games and billiard room . The shop closes early and there is no bar so I’d describe it sleepy ; but good location with a short walk to plenty of activities at the waterfront and to activities. Everyone was very courteous and helpful when asked questions. A pleasant stay
