This hotel is something out of 1960, the bed was unbelievably bad. The staff were very sweet, but this property rates 2 stars, truly poor. Truly the TV,was old and small the coach old dusty. One positive free EV charging a plus for us, also the front desk gave us a break as I was in hospital for 3 days.

I asked about the pool and they said that they informed everyone that the pool was closed for maintenance. But since I booked through a second party Hotels.com i wasn't notified. Thanks Hotels.com for not informing me that the pool was closed for annual maintenance. They do maintenance the same week every year. I got their direct line for when I book again instead of a second party. Plus it would have been cheaper. Also talked to the landscapers. His truck kind of blocked my exit and was more than happy to move it out of the way. But instead I asked him where's good a good place for breakfast and he pointed out a place within walking distance. His truck was moved by the time I got back. His name was Hayden, really nice guy and very professional.

The Royal Scot is our go-to place when we visit family in Canada. We like the convenient location, the kitchenettes, and the friendly staff. The property is not what I would call swanky but the rooms are clean and the amenities like the pool, game room, pool room and laundry are unique and very homey
