great overall stay and conveniently situated from Victoria enroute to our road trip up Vancouver Island. We didn't get to explore much around the area for restaurants though as it was a short stay but everything seemed within the area if needed. Unit was large and could accommodate a family if needed. Would stay here again given the self check in was a breeze.

I was able to call morning-of and ask if I could check in early since I would be in the area 2 hours ahead of schedule. They were able to accommodate this, and were very prompt with their help! The suite itself was nice with a sink, dish washer, a washer/dryer for clothes, a nice bathroom, a bed, and a couch with a pull-out bed as well! The only downside for this was the pull-out bed in the couch didn't have a blanket for it, and there was no extra bedding in the suite. This didn't end up being a huge issue for the time I was there, but it would've been nice to have!

The property was clean and comfortable. We had the corner unit which had 3 nice large windows. The kitchen was well stocked (other than no cutting board or flipper). The unit was right beside the elevator which was very loud. Thankfully it was not as busy at night. Staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful.

I was sorry to only have one night in this studio suite. It is modern and minimalist but really has everything you need. Comfy bed, lots of towels, and so easy to do breakfast in the room.

We stayed at Solo Suites with a large group in March. The suites were spacious and wonderful with full fridges, stoves, washer and dryer. All of the suites look different and unique inside. The keyless entry to the rooms was fantastic and convenient and parking was onsite and we had no issues finding a spot during our stay. Housekeeping only comes once a week but you can go to the front desk during the day to grab extras if needed. We were a 20 minute drive to downtown Victoria and 30 minutes to the airport. There was a Superstore, Costco and Walmart within 5 minutes. The main street, Goldstream, is very walkable with a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and stores. It was a very beautiful and safe area. We would definitely stay here again!

The kitchen was basic, but had most everything you would need to do basic cooking. In-suite laundry was very convenient, although our dryer did not work well. Major grocery stores were nearby, but could most easily be accessed by car. The suite was spacious, up-to-date, and with good light and opening windows for fresh air.

There was a very annoying high pitch sound coming from the bathroom fan. Having to wait until 9:00 for the smoking area on the 6th floor to be opened was annoying. And then it was not opened until after 9:30 when I finally went to reception to request that it be unlocked. I could not find a hair dryer which is basic amenity in most places. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Was the first time staying at this property - I booked it as it was close to the venues I was attending over my two day stay - and I would definitely book again. I was a little concerned about the traffic noise, but has the evening progressed, the traffic decreased substantially. Room was clean and had all the amenities needed.
