The hotel is a historic property located close to the famous Schönbrunn palace a little out of the centre of Vienna. It’s clean, quiet and well run, with convenient transport to the centre nearby. Also quite good value, although breakfast was VERY expensive. It advertises itself as an eco hotel, which is great, but there is not much in the way of toiletries etc. We also found the lighting a bit strange. You had to turn all lighting in the room off, so one person couldn’t read while another slept, there was insufficient light in the bathroom to do makeup, and there was insufficient light in the wardrobe area to distinguish one sweater from another.

Located just 1/4-1/2 mile from the main entrance of Schonbrunn Palace and Zoo. Public Transportation is adjacent. Great restaurants within walking distance. Staff very professional and willing to hold our luggage before check in

Firstly Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn provided us with a very impressive suite. Clean comfortable bed and pillows are always appreciated. Staff and management were kind, efficient and helpful. Breakfast buffet included many various and delicious options. Dining staff and environment are professional, swift and quiet. Proximity to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace and park across the street were appreciated and enjoyed daily. Three minute walk to a clean and efficient Underground and transit system made touring Vienna safe and comfortable at any hour of the day or night. We highly recommend Austria Trend Parkhotel for your next stay in magnificent Vienna.

PERFECT location. Lots of things open late nearby. Yes, a little train ride to the major attractions but we loved how quiet it was and still had plenty near the hotel.

Room was nice, basic, and spacious. Great balcony. Property is near the metro station. Easy connections to attractions. Breakfast was good but I suggest going early as food options become limited and does not always get refilled. Parking is convinient but very expensive and limited (40 Euros/day).

We were having the time of our lives. I had to change clothes and wore a "hoodie" into the bar. The staff (one HORRIBLE female and a male bar staff were HORRENDOUS to us in 10-1-24. Would not serve us. Waited on 3 other parties and then changed the bar keg and cleaned up bar and did dishes. They still didn't wait on us and offered service to other people after that! That's when I jumped out of my seat. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I know I looked like an "American" with a hoodie that I resulted to at the end of my trip. They certainly treated us like an "American" and ruined our trip. They can kiss.my.american.arse". I tried to complain to management - wasted my time. Don't go there if you are American - you are not wanted there. Let them serve an empty bar and hotel. I guess that will pay the bills.

I adored where the hotel was located, beautiful hotel, right next to the palace and gardens and zoo. Really friendly staff, and so enjoyed just sitting outside with a melange just taking in the scenery. Will be coming again, loved it!

We liked the location, very convenient to the palace. Very friendly staff, great breakfast buffet selection. A few good restaurants nearby. Subway right across the street. We didn’t care for the functioning of the air conditioning, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t. Staff didn’t seem to acknowledge that it was a problem. Claimed “old building”. Bees were everywhere at breakfast.
