The Apartment
In the center of Vienna, a classical furnished apartment awaits in its beauty to bring feeling of a real vienneese resident closer to you. The famouse musician Franz Schubert lived in exactly this building for a short time (in one of the upper floors). You would walk on the same stairs as he did (still in historical state) :)

The first district
The picturesque first district makes up the historical heart of Vienna, where the magnificent Ringstraße, historical architecture, government buildings, touristic enterprises and large company headquarters come together to make the first district not only the touristic, but also the economic centre of the city. As the oldest of Vienna’s districts, dating back to the Roman ages, it has found a place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The grand pedestrian shopping streets Graben and Kärntner Straße join at the central St. Stephen’s Square (Stephansplatz), where locals and tourists alike come together to enjoy the historic sights, browse through one of the many fashion stores, relish in a traditional Melange and Sacher cake in one of the famous Viennese coffee houses, or just stroll through the winding side streets and take in the Viennese atmosphere.
The location
The apartment is located in Spiegelgasse, a side street off the Graben, between the central St. Stephen’s Square (Stephansplatz) and Albertina Museum – a truly unbeatable address. Its unique and central location makes it the perfect starting point from which to discover Vienna city and all of its magnificent nooks and crannies. Some of Vienna’s most note-worthy sights, such as the Hofburg Palace complex, City Hall and St. Stephen’s Cathedral are just a few minutes of walking away. Lovers of arts, sciences, and imperial collections can enjoy a trip to the Fine Arts Museum (Kunsthistorisches Museum), Natural History Museum (Naturhistorisches Museum), Albertina Museum or Imperial Treasury (Kaiserliche Schatzkammer). Those that want a break from the bustle of the city can retreat to the Burggarten Park or City Hall Square (Rathausplatz) Park. The metro station just around the corner at Stephansplatz connects you to the metro lines U1 and U3.

Grab a lunch at lovely French Bistro Le Bol before spending the afternoon enjoying a traditional Melange and treat at Kurkonditorei Oberlaa or Café Hawelka. You can further soak in the infamous Viennese coffee house culture in traditional favourites such as the Café Central, Café Landtmann or Café Sacher.
