The location of the hotel was quite nice & the staff was incredibly friendly, however, like most American companies, they smile to your face while they steal from you. I was charged 600 pesos for breakfast that Expedia indicates is included. The friendly receptionist took my information & asked me to email someone about the problem (presumably the marketing manager). This has happened to me often in MX. I won't hear anything back.
The first day, they didn't have ANY hot items on the buffet, just cold cuts, cheese, cereal, and old bread. I live in CDMX. I know they didn't pay more than 400 pesos FOR EVERYONE to eat. The next day, we didn't waste our money on the abysmal food. So... in total, this typical American hotel stole 1,200 pesos.
