Relaxing vacation spot with the amenities of home

My husband and i enjoyed our week at this location. Luckily it is right in the lake which was needed as temps soared into the 90's. The home was very comfortable and the pictures accurately depict the accommodations. Natasha was very helpful and responded quickly the few times i reached out to her. A few things to note, if you are used to running to the store 10 mins away, plan on doubling the time. Not much is close by. If you are traveling with pets you plan on walking, make sure you check them for ticks thoroughly before returning home - our dog picked up 7 in a short walk down the road. Luckily, she is up to date on her meds and none bit her - they just hitched a ride. (This only happen when she was off the property and not during any time she was in the well maintained yard). If you are planning to visit wineries/distilleries in the area, check their hours and plan. Many are not open mid-week or don't open until late afternoon. Echo Hill had great drinks. And lastly, the Lake George Tavern, .5 mikes from the house, is great. The food is good and they have trivia nights. Also, they had a live band on Friday night outside under the tent which was a great way to spend our last night in Wales. We recommend this location.

Graduation family time

We wanted to share a few relaxing days together as a family before college and grad school commencement ceremonies began. We enjoyed having our coffee on the deck listening to the orioles and other beautiful birds. We had fun with the various board games downstairs, too. Comfortable home with great views of the lake and lots of natural light. We went for a hike and also enjoyed playing bingo at the tavern down the street.

Perfect little lake house!

Four girlfriends had an amazing overnight here - the place is super adorable, clean and well appointed and exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Views of the lake were incredible. We were able to make use of the fire pit, but due to weather not able to take advantage of the kayaks. But what a nice option for guests! Highly recommend for a peaceful lake getaway

Weekend getaway

Nice peaceful weekend at this lake side house.Cozy house with all the amenities you need.( could do with a medium sized pot perhaps?)We cooked on the grill every night & roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Lovely lake views! I enjoyed listening to and watching the birds from the deck in the morning sunshine.The kids enjoyed watching the big screen TV downstairs.Great location with lots of hiking nearby. We took our dog on some nice trails that were within a 10 min drive.Host Natasha responded quickly to any questions I had, which is great.Would highly recommend this property for a nice little getaway!Would recommend this lakeside house!

Comfortable Retreat

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The view of the lake in winter was quite nice, entire lake iced over during our stay.We spent most of our time enjoying the living room area and the downstairs game room.A very enjoyable stay with everything we needed!

Super cozy, cute and clean!

My husband and I stayed at this cozy lakeside cottage with our toddler and infant while visiting nearby family for Thanksgiving. The home was quite spacious and extremely clean! Light poured in during the mornings, the view of the lake was beautiful, and the interior decor was awesome. We really appreciated the open line of communication with the property owner - whenever we had a question, she responded immediately. We definitely recommend this spot!! Thank you for a great stay.

Mini vacation

We stayed with another couple and the property was super cute, well appointed and the view was breath taking! Even though we didn't have the best weather while there, we had so much fun staying in, cooking and playing games! I do wish there were more towels but to be fair, I didn't reach out to ask - didn't matter because it was so enjoyable overall!

The home was clean and cozy. The views were beautiful! Being off season the area was very quiet which was extremely relaxing. The owner had great communication and was very flexible with our requests. If traveling through this area again we would definitely stay here again!

Girls weekend

A great place for family connection

We stayed at the property for a weekend family gathering to celebrate the UConn graduation of our daughter. The property was comfortable and inviting with lots of space for all family members to gather together but also privacy when needed. The beds and linens were very comfortable as well as the overall decor and layout of the space. It was very nice to wake up with the sounds and view of the lake. We were able to bring our dog and walk the area around the property with her. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

Cozy stay in beautifully decorated home

This home is so inviting, and comfortable, while also being luxurious! It is beautifully decorated with top notch furnishings. The upstairs loft is a great getaway spot, as is the lower level media room. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. And we enjoyed using the pellet grill on the deck, which grilled our steaks to perfection. Thank you for a great stay!

Thankful to Natasha for a memorable family reunion

We couldn’t have asked for anything better for our stay at this lovely lakeside house! It is cozy, simple and elegant and comfy! My in laws are able to enjoy the beautiful lake on the deck and my family had a great time kayaking on the lake. Natasha is wonderful - communicative, responsive and very accommodating! It made the whole process so much easier and completely stress free! I would recommend this place and would definitely come back if we have another reunion with family from New Hampshire! We enjoyed our stay in Wales. House just as described and looked in pictures. Natasha was helpful when I reached out to her for help with directions. I might suggest a space heater or something for the lower level in cooler months, and maybe a toaster. We would definitely stay again. Great location with lots of good restaurants. Loved Villa Sophia in Brimfield and Steaming Tender in Palmer.

Restorative

The Chic Lake House is beautifully decorated and felt cozy. It was very clean. All the mattresses were comfortable as well as the couches and chairs. The view is spectacular on Lake George. My siblings and nieces got together on Saturday and had a delightful reunion. There was plenty of space and it has 3 levels counting the loft as one. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a get away. My favorite personally was sitting in the swing looking at the lake. It was peaceful and I felt surrounded by beauty. A lot of the leaves were turning and that was enjoyable as well.
