Motel Experience at a Hotel rate.. If you find yourself traveling through Emeryville I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a few of reasons. Find better options at this rate. helpful staff for all of my issues & questions and the breakfast (not included) was delicious. The room - fine- has a fridge and tv and big couch.. water view is a joke- overlooking the freeway and under construction parking lot. no lotions or products in room. - my toilet clogged and when i unsuccessfully tried to call down (direct buttons were disconnected- apparently you are supposed todial “0” - shrug) i walked down to the front desk - very nice and responsive but when the staff came to my door they handed me the plunger.. I asked if I was supposed to do it and she said “i dont know how and the guy that does isnt here yet” ok, I KNOW how to plunge a toilet. I CAN do it.. but at $200 /nt….. I shouldnt have to. I did because nature calls- and when I recounted to the desk what happened - they offered me a free breakfast voucher - which was coffee eggs bacon & toast but as I said, Delicious! - the pool is small and was closed my first night.. the gym is ok.. machines are old yet functional - but no yoga mats. towels and water offered -parking is an additional (!!) fee $25/nt.. the lot is not patrolled and you park at your own risk. I guess someone got mad and tossed trash everywhere including a smoothie that was all over my car (again, staff was responsive) offered another meal

they have a horrible policy, they don’t allow you to check in until 4 PM. There is dirt and dust on the vents in the rooms and windows. The carpet needs to be replaced. The furniture needs to be updated. You don’t even get 24 hours at the hotel do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. If you want to check in early, expect to pay early check-in rates, for example, they tried to charge me for extra night if I wanted to check in earlier. Very bad business model.

Have stayed here 3 times now and every time has been very nice and comfortable. Great location with many options for fun, food, and entertainment. I will continue to stay here when I am in the area.

property is ok the reason i booked because of Jacuzzi and on web site it did say Jacuzzi and pool and guess what Jacuzzi is broken so i ssk management and ohhh sorry it's not working will give you breakfast and its was worse breakfast ever.

it was clean and comfortable beds. It would have been nice to get a cup of tea in the lobby, but that was not an option (only if you paid). I had no hot water in my room and the engineer could not come until 10 a.m., so I had to shower in another room so I could leave on time for my day. I got no offer of a discount or anything for that.

I enjoyed my stay. Room was a little dated. Iron wires was damaged, iron board cover was brittle and not secured to board. TV was extremely small. Limited complementary items in restroom. Can use a major upgrade throughout the rooms. But the floor was quiet.
