Getting to know Lexington
This place is super! My wife is totally in love with Embassy Suites. The water fountains and fauna in the atrium help one to relax. Evertime we visit Lexington this is our hotel of choice!

OK, but not great
It was unfortunate that some lights right outside of the bedroom window flicked off loudly every five seconds all night long. It would have been nice to have sheets for the hide-a-bed in the room, and even nicer if they had brought a pillowcase when they brought the requested sheets. There were sticky spots on handles and surfaces, as well as what appeared to be a spot of blood on the bathroom wall. So overall, the hotel could use some work. The hotel was not terrible, but it needs some better care.

Beautiful place but 2 fountains weren't working, bathroom stall out of order and the worst of all, the male waiter was so RUDE. Having breakfast and had to leave in the middle of it. Got back around an hour later, went and got a fresh plate and he puffed up like he was the one who had bought the food!! Have dust allergies really bad and the bed frame in my room was covered in dust. Had to go out in the hallway and ask the housekeeper for supplies.

Way Past Needing an Uplift
My family stays at many Embassy Suites on road trips, so we've stayed at quite a few. This one has the same things you'd expect, like big, buffet breakfast with an omelet station and happy hour with free drinks every day. And the staff was very nice and helpful. But overall, the hotel just looks like it's physically been neglected for at least a decade. The interior of the hotel looks very old and dated. A couple of the fountains in the center were not working. Our room had a couple of spots where water damage was patched on the ceiling. The pillows seemed as old as the hotel: flat and lumpy. The handle for the shower was loose and coming off, same with the shower head. The carpet didn't have a smell, but it was just super worn and old. This hotel is in a great location. But it's sad to see how the owners have let this hotel go. It needed a remodel a decade ago.

Visit to the Ark
Everything was excellent except for a lot of gnats in the restroom. We must’ve smashed about 20 gnats and there were still others. Not sure if they are there because of all the plants in the lobby or if someone left food out prior to our stay. The breakfast was awesome! We had the made to order omelettes. The gnats didn’t affect our stay but hopefully there gone next time.

This hotel is older but the quakity is still good. Front desk and housekeeping were very reponsive when we needed bedding for the pull out sofa. The breakfast was high quality and the overall value for the price couldn't be beat!
