Cute place to stay
The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. We had issues with connecting the projector to the internet and finally gave up on trying to connect but other then that the overall experience was great. Will be staying here again in the future.

Great stay!
We had a great weekend staying here. The projector and hot tub were awesome amenities. There was a snow storm right before we arrived and the roads were clear and the driveway was plowed. We had a great experience and would stay here again!

A great rustic getaway
We really enjoyed our stay here and it was perfect for the two of us and the dog as a cozy, rustic place to relax after winter hiking. The hot tub is a big plus and the projector screen is a nice addition for hunkering down and watching a movie. We had no real issues with cleanliness as noted in other reviews, but it is a cute, cozy hillside A-frame camp. It is not new or fancy, so it really depends on what you’re looking for. We didn’t notice until after booking that the confirmation say AWD/4wd required. We had a front wheel drive car with good snow tires and had no problem with the hill, but in snowier/ muddier conditions I can see how AWD would be nice. The steps to the loft and bottom floor are very steep and more like a ladder. Fine for us but could be tricky for folks with mobility issues. Our dog that hikes mountains didn’t want to go up or down the stairs. Communication through Vacasa seems a little distant. We had no cell service at the house so we couldn’t call anyway, but it was difficult to figure out whom to talk to when the hot tub wasn’t working at the end of our stay. We tried email and got a canned response. We called when we got service and the rep on the phone was nice and put in a “ticket” for the tub. Overall we had a great stay!

31st Birthday
This place was adorable. This is not a negative review, I actually really enjoyed my stay here however there are things I would really recommend for the future people staying here. Cute Rustic comfy cozy place, clean sheets and towels. Beware the stairs are near impossible to go down very dangerous and steep. Same goes for the upstairs loft. This place leaves your clothes and items stinky like a old basement! If anyone reads this from the Management company please do a serious deep cleaning. Whoever is cleaning it now is not cutting it. Theres spiders EVERYWHERE, not to mention crazy amounts of spiderwebs anywhere and everywhere possible in every room, crack and cranny of the place. Hottub reaked of chemicals, and there was only two wood logs available for the Chimenea. It was very nice, however it stunk clearly of chemicals leaving us with a slight rash after using hottub, plus there being sand in it. That needs a deep clean as well. I think if all these things were done and it was seriously clean, this is a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed it!

Positive experience but more rustic than anticipated
Overall, a positive experience. The cabin is smaller and more rustic than it appears in listing photos. Other reviews mentioned concerns with cleanliness. We didn’t have major concerns but there were some cobwebs and a dead mouse in basement (not unexpected given the wooded area.) There was a faint odor of dogs and my son’s allergies were triggered. (We understood it was a dog-friendly property so expected that might be the case.) Family enjoyed watching movies on the projector and took full advantage of the hot tub after hiking during the day. The house has plenty of outlets/chargers which were convenient. As other reviews mention, the staircase to loft and basement are incredibly steep/narrow (more like a ladder.)

It was ok
We arrived at the property, opened the door, and were immediately overtaken by the smell of dog. There were stains on the living room rug. Management texted asking how clean the place was, when I described my experience, they apologized. Using the vacuum later, we found it's likely the cause of the smell. The pictures of the property made me think that there were two rooms on the main floor, and a loft with two beds. In reality, there is a room and bath on the main floor, a loft with two beds, and another room in the (very nice) basement, which is accessed by a flight of stairs in a closet that are very steep and narrow. This was my fault for not paying closer attention, but it made sleeping assignments difficult for us, since we had three small kids with us (1,3,5), and didn't want them navigating any of these stairs, especially at night. Having rooms on three different levels also poses complications of trying to maintain a comfortable temperature without AC. It was sweltering in the loft and freezing in the basement. We also noted in the initial walkthrough that the provided chimney was barely held together. I don't know how it was still standing. We opted to roast our marshmallows on the grill instead. After the first meal, we discovered that the water pressure is nearly non-existent when attempting to wash the dishes. This was only the case in the kitchen sink. The place was cute. We had a good vacation. I don't regret booking, but it will likely be the only stay here.

Late Winter in Vermont
Upon arriving, we realized that what we had rented was a tiny home, not a normal size cottage. Initally we were very disappointed. The "staircase" to the lower floor was not much more than a ladder (same as the way up to the loft, but that one was as expected). This meant that our dog was limited to the uppper floor only as the exterior walkway down to the slider and hot tub was unshovelled and the was no shovel in the house! How can you be in Vt in the winter without a shovel on hand!!! The beds and linens were clean, but the floors could have used a good sweeping or vaccumming and the dishes in the cubbards were dirty and needed to be washed before we could use them! Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable. Once we got used to the size of the place, we settled in and did have fun. The "living room" was comfortable and the projector TV was a very nice touch.

Great stay for our ski trip in Stratton. There were some uncleaned towels from previous guess and very low water pressure.

Aframe to Ski
Proximity to Mt Snow is awesome, only 12 minutes. Pictures on listing are brighter than the actual property. There is no TV service so you must pair an app from your phone to the projector, but the projector is awesome. Hot tub was great to relax in, however the water needs addressing. All the basics are there, a grill would be nice in the future due to the small stove. No water pressure out of kitchen faucet,,, plenty of hot water for showers. For a winter rental, we were surprised to find no shovel available to clear walkways or burm the plow left

Cozy Country A-Frame
I rented this A-Frame for a mini couples getaway. I was not disappointed. Upon first glance the place seems very rustic. I was pleasantly surprised that they had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is nice and updated. There was equipment to cook with and a Brita in the fridge. The projector was a really nice touch. The hot tub was amazing. The couch was cozy and we were pleasently surprised to find the buttons on the side to make it recline. The cabin is located 15 minutes away from Mount Snow and the local restaurants of Dover. We were pleasently surprised that the Wardsboro Country Store had all the basics that we could need and then some. We appreciated the small touches of board games and a dog toy in the living room. We would stay again!
