What a great hotel! Perfect location for seeing the sights and getting around. Room was large and clean and comfortable. Staff lovely, super helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. I was booked in for 6 nights and had been allocated a basement room with no windows for the duration of my stay. Not sure why anyone would do this but managed to arrange a room change with no fuss. Definitely recommend and would stay here if ever back in DC… although I would specify no basement room.

Nice old historic building, but the room had not been thoroughly cleaned, the in house restaurant was not good and tremendously overpriced, and the mattress was perhaps the worst I've ever slept on. I have had terrible back pain since. Really cool building, but would not recommend

This hotel was beautiful, rooms were super clean, loved the history of the building. The hotel was close to a lot of cool sights, attractions, and restaurants; the Capital One arena is literally a block away! Overall we had a great time and will stay here again! Highly recommend!
