They were overbooked, and my family and I had to stay elsewhere for the first 2 nights. It took a lot of time to rearrange accommodation and vacation plans that we missed some of the activities we had planned to see and do in the area. Once we checked in, the room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly.

Very well appointed, clean, helpful staff. Suite had nicely stocked kitchen. Hot breakfast in the morning was a bonus. Convenient to Metro and public transit to get around Alexandria and DC.

Overall, the property was very nice. The rooms and lobby were clean. The breakfast was good as well. Our only gripe was the hotel bar was closed all three nights due to someone calling out each night. About a 6 minute walk to the Eisenhower Line (Yellow), so it was convenient to get into DC.

We loved the Residence Inn. Good breakfast. Staff were very polite. Walking distance to King Street. Several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. $8 for bottled water in the room was rather excessive.

Great short notice stay in Alexandria
Great three night stay here, it’s a little walk from the nearest metro station but no major trouble. The soundproofing of the room we stayed in was excellent, so no complaints about noise. Complimentary breakfast was great at the weekend, but disappointing to see it scaled back on Monday. The chap on the front desk was a real credit to the organisation, very friendly, helpful and professional.
