Wonderful

The rooms were self check in, which in my case was very convenient as we were running late for a concert at the fair. The room was quiet, clean, and really nice. Had one of the most comfortable beds in it. Private parking was a definite plus.
The room was nice, clean, bed was comfy. But, we were not able to regulate the room temp as they have the thermostat locked, also no bath mat to step out on after a shower.
We never received the email with entry code or phone number. Had trouble finding a number to call to resolve as it was not on the door. Air Conditioner was extremely loud. It humed and rattled mirror in bathroom and woke us 3 times during the night.
Quaint inn with a clubhouse next door for drinks, pizza and snacks. Nice outdoor seating at clubhouse with view of the river. This is about a 2 block walk away from three restaurants. Would stay again.
Everything seemed ideal until it was time to sleep. The door window blinds did nothing to keep the outdoor light from iluminating in, we even layed a bath towel over the door and it hardly filtered the bright light. We blocked the door lock's red blinking light with a pair of socks.
Not unusual is the tv and microwave lights we also blocked. What was the worst was the air conditioner. My husband's occupation is upscale home remodeling. He said the air conditioning situation was simply not done correctly. If you are not in a deep sleep, you will be jolted awake by the noise it makes. We did not sleep well.
I thought the mattress was wonderful, but the pillows were not. We had a king room with four flat, hard pillows. I'm glad we brought one each just in case of this kind of situation.
Because of the air conditioner's jolting noise I would not recommend this inn for the summer. If they take reviews to heart they may be able to fix this problem.
Pictures were deceiving. Incredibly small room. Property was clearly renovated to be a hotel and was not done by a professional crew. Super over priced for what they provide. Would only recommend as last resort.

Liked: Cleanliness
It’s nice but they certainly need to upgrade their television package, that would keep from returning.
The Elijah inn bar and food area was so cute for the holidays. Pizza was really good! Staff was amazing. We felt like we were in a Hallmark Movie. We had a great time there with a group for a wedding. So many places to drink, eat and shop around the Inn. The trains going by and the river view was a bonus!!!
