Had to terminate stay after discovering rodent evidence underneath beds. Staff was notified and shown photo evidence. Had to acquire new accommodations at Hampton Inn Washington District the following day (August 22, 2025). Refund requested for Washington Plaza aborted stay.

The property was ok, one staff person was pretty rude. A guy, I didn't get his name however, I just stopped him to ask a question in the hall and he responded sarcastically. The rooms are tiny, no space at all and are outdated. Parking is $43 a night, and I did not enjoy my stay, I highly do not recommend.

We had a wonderful experience last week at the Washington Plaza Hotel. Every single staff person--the doormen, the front desk folks, the lifeguards, the restaurant servers, etc.--were as nice as can be. We had a couple of meals there and they were great! The big draw besides it being in the location we needed was the outdoor pool. We so, so loved that! It made our trip! The only negative thing I'd mention is that the rooms were a bit small and dated, but the rest was so great, we didn’t mind.

It was a good solid getaway. This hotel Feels dated though compared to the other offerings in the area. That said it was clean and comfortable. No parking so prepare to pay the hotel for parking.

Great value for a great hotel.

Very pleased with the hotel. We only stayed one night, but the entire experience was great. The best part was the price. VERY REASONABLE. We were happy to have found this hotel, very near where we needed to be, so as long as the price is reasonable, we'll stay over and over.
