Moose’s Lair
Property was great. FYI the one of the pictures makes it look like the river runs right to lawn but there is a steep incline to access river which if I had known I wouldn’t have brought my kayak. Otherwise the pictures are good representation of the property.

We were very isolated, not much of any chance to go for hikes or even walks.
I know it was a cabin, but given the fact it was too dangerous to hike, or even walk for that matter, it would have been nice with a fireplace. (Fire pit was completely covered) Considering all this it probably would have made it easier to take if there was the satilite and cable TV, that had been included in the amenities. Ended up leaving 2 days early.

Peaceful Getaway
The cabin is perfect for two people. My pup loved the outside area. It's nice and quite. The location is perfect, hiking, grilling, swimming.... etc. There is hunting in the area so you will hear some gunshots in the distance. The eagle welcomed us our first morning there. It was truly a wonderful place.

Serene cabin on the river
Perfect spot to relax and get away from it all. The cabin was right on the river. Our family enjoyed fishing and caught several bass. The conditions on the river during our stay made it possible to float down stream from the dam on tubes. We watched a bald eagle and at night sat out at the fire. This is the best equipped rental I’ve ever been in. The hosts have thought of everything you might need. Any questions we had were answered immediately and the cabin was immaculate. We would definitely go back. Great experience overall. Thanks for having us!

So relaxing!
We had such a great time ! This little cabin was very clean and well stocked! It had everything we needed. The hosts were so fast to answer my many questions :) Get yourself a fishing license if you don't have one! I caught my first fish ever in the river behind the house, and several more after that! Kayaking, hiking, swimming are all near by! Sit in the chairs beside the river and watch the sun set! Great time

Tranquil getaway
This small cabin is right on the Penobscot River. It was perfect for two people. We spent our evenings on the porch watching the river flow by after some really great days of hiking trails in the region. The bed is in a loft so be prepared to climb a ladder.
