Because my wife was having Surgery at Wellington Hospital, the Motor Inn was a good choice. We were given the Accessability which meant easy parking right outside the door. Lovely owners & staff. We'd recommend this property!

Good parking but check in was really painful. There was a problem with expedia not providing a virtual payment for the hotel (but I already paid to Expedia), the help line was not helpful and Expedia gave us a US-‘toll free’ number to call from NZ! All this was very unpleasant for us for check-in...the reception could have given us a room first (Expedia had already confirmed payment), but we had to sit through 1.5 hours late at night without access to our room. We missed our dinner appointment and it was a really bad start to the holiday. The motel was actually quite run down in parts and there were areas of the room not well-cleaned (toilet/bathroom an example).
