My stay was smooth, and the breakfast was convenient, clean, and efficient. I stayed in a base room (room 115), which is close to the stairway. It started to get noisy in the early morning due to the cleaning staff and thin windows. I would recommend this room to those who need to get up early. Overall, it's a nice hotel with a great location and a good continental breakfast. I would recommend it to friends, but suggest avoiding certain noisy rooms.

Rooms nice and location good but disappointing overall. 1) The shower in the room was lukewarm and pressure was poor. 2) The lift was often stuck on 3rd floor, we were in and out all the time so it was very annoying. 3) The gym's treadmill was out of order.

The public areas were very clean and had a modern design. The room was spacious. There were full cooking facilities and a washer and dryer in the bathroom. Well suited for a long stay business traveller given the room amenities. We would happily stay there again!

The hotel is well situated. When i got there the reception staff member was eager not to answer any questions, not to smile, and bordering on rude. The next day, there was another lady at the desk...smiley faced, asking questions, so I told her the phone in my room didnt work, nor did the TV. Also the hot tap came off in my hand in the hot shower and there was no hot water at 9pm. the night before. I wrote to Expedia. The lady, Amy said she would reconnect the TV and the phone, and she even had the hot tap re-glued. She kindly left me a note. Because of her kind treatment, I would go back to that hotel. The lady the afternoon I checked in needs training, or maybe she could have a job which doesnt involve the guests.

Awesome spot right in the CBD. The room was tidy but the TV did not work well and there was outdated notes left for other guests. Air conditioning did not work well and the room was very hot. However, helpful staff and an easy check in!

Perfect, great room, fresh, clean, trendy, small but big enough, happy as! Breakfast was just my style! Yoghurt, cereal, fruit, toast, yum coffee. Definitely be back if in welly again. Awesome and very happy for the price. Great friendly staff. 11/10 for me. No complaints.

I was very impressed with the hotel. It’s clean, tidy, and has a quality finish. Small touches like the bathroom led light-mirror and wireless charger next to bed were appreciated. Breakfast is very simple - no prob with that, but don’t have a poster showing pastries if they are not offered. Location is amazing, bed was super comfortable, and the room was lovely. Would def stay again.

Good short stay
Clean, quiet and comfy in a very good location. Rooms are small and probably would only recommend for a short stay due to room size and lack of natural light. Decor is fresh and modern, bed is amazing. Breakfast is awful so skip and go to a nice local cafe instead!

Great location with nice modern rooms. Small but comfy and very clean. Best suited for a short stay due to the small room size. Breakfast was free but honestly not worth even going down for. Lots of nice cafes around for breakfast instead.

Beautifully renovated old building. The lounge with communal breakfasts and happy hours is really cool - nice to chat to fellow guests. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet, despite being in the middle of Wellington's nightlife district. Shower was art-deco style with separate cold and hot taps, which was slightly fiddly, and the shower wand had difficulty staying in one position. Appreciated the decaf coffee sachets, although they were not replenished during room servicing. Kettle didn't fit under the bathroom tap, but could be filled using the coffee mugs, so not an issue. Water jug provided in the fridge, but again, couldn't fit it under the tap. On the whole, a very comfortable stay.
