The staff was friendly and cordial and overall the facility was good. The biggest complaint I have was that there was no hot water in the morning so I got stuck with a cold shower. That was at 6:30 am. For this reason only I won’t rebook there.

Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and the housekeeping staff was careless and rude. When we checked in, the first room we were assigned was around 90 degrees. The heater was set as high as it could go, with the fan on high. We tried turning on the cooler to cool it down, but after approximately 20 minutes the room had only cooled down a few degrees and it was already very late, so we wanted to sleep rather than fight with the climate controls. The very friendly and helpful man working at the front desk moved us to another room with no complaints. The second room was also too warm, but we were able to get it cooled down. While we chose to stay in that room, the bathroom wasn't super clean and the sink didn't drain properly. Checkout at this property is at 11:00 am. Because we had checked in late at night, while I was checking in I asked if it was possible to get a late checkout and was told that by 11:30 the housekeepers would be knocking on the door to get us out. The next morning we were very conscientious of the time, and were out by 10:45, but at around 10:35 housekeeping knocked on our door. I did not answer, because I was in the bathroom and couldn't tell if they were knocking on our door or another door nearby. Then, ignoring the do not disturb sign, the housekeeper came into our room. This was completely unacceptable. I will not stay at this hotel again, and don't recommend it.

Room was clean and quite nice. Two room issues: 1. The heating/AC unit wasn't working properly. Turn the heat on to 70 and the room would get really warm. Too warm. Even setting it to 60 on the display would result in warm air coming out and the room getting too warm. We turned off the heat altogether and let the room cool down. A bit too cool is better than too warm. 2. I turned on the water in the tub and it was literally brown. It took a minute or two of running water for it to clear up but it finally did. We were able to deal with both issues ok and other than that the room itself was pretty decent. They have a fitness center, but it's pretty low end. The only treadmill is broken. One elliptical. They have a weight machine for a few exercises and a few lightweight dumbbells. No mats or benches for doing anything with the weights, and no water, towels, or sanitizer in the room. Breakfast was definitely low end. They had some waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Only apples for fruit. No yogurt, no bananas or oranges. It seemed like they were out of a lot of stuff and we weren't there late at all. Ice machine on the main floor was broken. I'd say the room was pretty good except for a couple of minor issues but the amenities need attention.
