It's clean. It's in the middle of town. Relatively close to the university. It is not walking distance to the stadium. Photos online do not represent the quality or condition of the rooms or hotel. It is old and looks it. Breakfast advertised is an overstatement of coffee and a few muffins. I had had booked a double king. They said that Hotels.com had only confirmed a single. They were able to move me into a double queen but with no credit on the price.

No working shower. Bugs in the beds. Every cloth covered surface was either worn-out or filthy. Grime on every surface. Tattooed front desk attendant was dismissive and slightly aggressive. Way too much cost for this miserable lodging. This is my last stay at a "Days Inn & Suites".

We thought that because Days Inn was affiliated with Wyndham, that it would be a quality hotel. The photos in the app when booking the room were completely deceiving. This hotel needs major renovation in the rooms need complete update. There was a lot of paint that was peeling and mold in the bathroom area. The rate that I had to pay for this so-called suite, was over $300. It was a game weekend for this town in Starkville Mississippi, and I had very little options for finding a hotel room. The information and the photos of this hotel were completely deceiving and I will never stay at a Days Inn ever again.

Ceiling had black mold all over it. “Clean” Towels had stains. Tried to call front desk but phone in room didn’t work. Doors to room looks like someone took a sledge hammer to it. Room had bad smell. Pictures on Expedia look nothing like actual property. Paid over $600 for 2 nights. We checked in and checked out 3 hours later. Went down the road dropped another $500 to stay at the LaQuienta which was like the Ritz Carlton compared to this place.

I would have felt safer sleeping in my car on campus! Thinking it was a Wyndam for $350 a night it would be safe and clean.....Negative. There was loud music on and off all night...no phone to call the office to let them know and I sure wasn't going out in a dim lit parking lot by myself. Cigarette butts EVERYWHERE. When I complained at checkout I received attitude from the man at the front desk... then saw later he had charged my card for another $40! After I complained he told me to go stay at a Hilton if I didn't like it.

Need some renovations
Hotel needs some updates. There was mold on the ceiling which had my sinuses going crazy. I have already booked another trip and stayed there based on its location. It looked like they may be renovating it. I hope so. The man who checked us in was very nice and had switched are room for us.
