Not very helpful

Definitely not pleased this stay - we choose to stay here when we travel to Colorado because it’s close to family and friends, we grew up in the area but currently live out of state - the construction wasn’t an issue until we had no where to meet up and visit with family ( we had funeral arrangements to go over ) not one single person was in the restaurant area and we were told that’s where employees take their lunches / breaks and not available for us to use , no ice in any machine on at least 4 floors was frustrating as well but the real kicker was when I realized I forgot my luggage key and went down to the front desk in a panic and was basically told we can’t help you and acted like I was the only person whom had ever forgot or misplaced a luggage key - had to go to the store and buy pliers to break it off , checkout the lady was also incredibly rude I was trying to adjust my purse while waiting for my car and she asked me if I could please move away from the desk as she was done checking me out - again not a single person was in the lobby Only one of the desk people were kind and the cleaning lady on our floor (8) was super kind and considerate we didn’t need cleaned everyday but she checked on us and made sure we had things we needed -also if your front desk people don’t like or appreciate us booking through a 3rd party they need to not tell us every time at checkin ! we book through hotels .com because that is how we choose to travel for business and pleasure-

The hotel was undergoing renovation during my stay so some amenities were not available. The pool was closed and the fitness center was temporarily located in a couple of rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very quiet, especially on the east side away from the street. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well.

It's "OK." A decent value, but not remarkable.

The Sheraton is perfectly fine, but nothing remarkable. It was clean and comfortable. I don't recall seeing any information prior to booking about renovations taking place, which would have been nice to know in advance. Fitness Center and other amenities were relocated for the renovation. The biggest positive is the relatively quick and easy access if you're planning to head west on 1-70 after your stay.

Sheraton Bait & Switch in Denver West

I found most everything at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel in Lakewood to be excellent. The (2) front-desk representatives were very nice and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was very walkable and overall felt safe. My only disappointed was to discover upon arrival that the lobby and 2nd floor levels were being renovated, meaning that the pool and fitness center were restricted to guest access. In my opinion, this restricted access to these amenities warrants a discount to the loding expense.

Construction was a damper…

It was only okay due to the construction. Room was out of date, but did the trick. Bar was closed and staff was limited. Also, there was zero outdoor lighting to indicate where the property was.
