The location was close to the harbour area and the room was lovely. The only downside was that the room was on the second floor of an old Victorian 3 storey house and the stairs were a feat in themselves. Also the parking was difficult to sort out as we had to drive to the tourist information building in the town down by the harbour. Once sorted, parking outside the property was easy. The main reception area was welcoming and had lots of complimentary breakfast cereals and hot drinks available. There were plenty of spare toilet rolls dotted along the staircase in case you needed them. We only spent one night there but the heating was amazing, so much so we had to turn it down. The bed was comfortable and had a lovely winter duvet which kept us warm all night! Overall, I’d definitely stay there again as the on call staff were amazing and highly responsive to our queries.
I really liked the option of 3 adults in one room bookable. (Actually was split bedrooms). Most other places you have to book two rooms. Lovely and spacious, modern decor. Parking was a bit of an issue, but did eventually find the car park which is free this time of year.
Good location, clean and instructions to get property easy and the snack and drink fridge a bonus.
However akthough bed was comfy did creak alot . Also kept awake due to the plumbing making a noise like someone drilling on and off and also made shower vibrate a come on so sounded like heavy rain, such ashame

Fine. Beds were wobbly and felt like they might break when you got in. It’s an old Victorian house so the sound travels a lot - people were thankfully considerate but any noise in the halls is really loud. They were having issues with the soap dispensers and we had to contact the staff - who aren’t on site - to come bring us soap as we had none. Otherwise, it’s a lovely location and did the trick.
Room was extremely small and you couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom. Very tired looking. Twin room was up a flight of stairs which proved difficult for my disabled companion.
very dated no black out curtains little milk cartons left in a tray on staircase table in direct sunlight with coffee and sugars if you needed extra ones
