An absolute gem of a well maintained 1931 Art Deco superb hotel. The 1931 restaurant (used to be the Palm Court in prior days gorgeous. Nicely kept and comfortable rooms and efficient elevators ( it is 28 floors high).

Other than the location, I would not recommend this hotel. I arrived at 4pm last Saturday, my room wasn’t ready. Gave all my luggage to the valet to hold and went for a walk. 2 hours later, still not ready. It is now 6pm and I can’t change for dinner. I couldn’t go anywhere else so sat at the bar, no purse hooks. Seems a work order was submitted for replacing, but it went nowhere. Finally, get my room 2.5 hours late, could have at least given me a drink on the house…just got a I'm sorry. Ceilings are all cracked in the hallways and room. Got my shower and the drain is clogged. Water halfway up my calf. I had a King jr suite so it had 2 showers. Tried the other shower the next morning, the same. Avoid room 2328. If they invested in renovating it this place could be great. Location is great, you can feel the history of the building but goodness for the price lots of aggravation.

EV charger issues
The EV charger in valet parking didn't work at all even though they told us it was plugged in. Not everyone has a Tesla! If we had not parked in valet we would have had access to a better charger. It was frustrating to have paid extra for valet only to have the EV not charge at all overnight. Otherwise the hotel is lovely and the staff were great. The history is amazing. I will be back.

Property was very convenient for walking to Paycor stadium for concert event. Staff was very helpful and worked diligently to resolve an elevator issue as the hotel was completely full for the weekend.

Great location. Staff was exceptional. Accepted a package for me 4 days before my arrival. Also, we booked the wrong room and they were able to graciously accommodate us. I would definitely stay here again and recommend you do the same!
