Excellent stay!
My wife and I had a fantastic time over our 5 days. The house had everything we needed, was extremely comfortable, and was the perfect location. We loved the quick and easy access to the National Monument and other areas of SE Arizona, but also loved hanging "in the neighborhood". Hope to be back. someday.

High Desert Gem
We had a delightful stay for three nights. The guest house was very comfortable, spotless and stocked with everything we needed. Diana was very accommodating and friendly. We loved Kelsey, her dog, who greeted us every time we left and returned from exploring the surrounding area, Chiricahua National Monument and Chiricahua Mountains/Coronado National Forest. The property was serene and relaxing with views of the mountains and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed being outside, using the outdoor chairs provided, and watching various birds and jackrabbits. The bay window seat was a wonderful place to be during the monsoon storm that rolled in. Thank you Diana, we are looking forward to another stay!

Chiricahua hikes and exploration
This was the most amazing VRBO experience we’ve ever had, the cleanliness, kindness and native experience of the host was beyond reproach. Uniqueness of the property and beauty, silence, and night sky darkness made the windy conditions seem even more significant to the nature of all the surroundings. All 4 of us 70+ year olds couldn’t have been more pleased with all of experiences with this location. Thank you Diana! (& Kelsey)

Loved every minute
I stayed at Diana's property with a friend, as a base for visiting the Chiricahua park. We both loved our stay, the house had everything we needed, comfy beds and fluffy towels, and Kelsey the dog to accompany us on walks round the property. I loved the silence and the amount of stars to be seen at night is breathtaking. Oh and great WiFi so I could send photos back to family and friends in Europe! :-) I hope to get back some day in the future.

Home away from home
We just spent a few days enjoying the Chiricahua National Monument and the location couldn't be more perfect. Diana and Michael are the nicest hosts and the place was spotless. Very clean and well appointed. Everything we needed for our stay. The large picture window in front is the perfect place to watch the sunrise and enjoy a coffee before a day exploring. In the afternoon you can sit and enjoy all the birds that visit the yard. The Gambel's and Scaled Quail are numerous and very entertaining to watch. Would highly recommend.

Best VRBO ever
Diana was the consummate hostess -- even a dozen fresh eggs from her ranch awaited us in the scrupulously clean unit. We loved it, felt comfortable and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. While some might be tempted to skimp on towels, toilet paper or napkins where it would be easy to save money, Diana still put out the very best. She greeted us for a walk-through on arrival and then left us to enjoy. While we came to visit the incredible and jaw dropping Chiricahwa National Monument, the quiet, the sunset and the beautiful views will bring us back. Thank you, Diana!

Hiking and History!
We loved everything about this comfortable, cozy, peaceful guest house and the delightful owner, Diana! Although we came to hike the beautiful trails of Chiricahua National Monument, the ranch atmosphere of this vacation rental prompted us to also explore the late 19th/ early 20th century history of this corner of Arizona. We visited nearby Fort Bowie National Historic Site and made the 1 ½ mile hike to the military camp ruins. (We picked up a site brochure at the start of the trail to get an idea of the original encampment and read the many posted informational signs along the way.) To learn more about early pioneer settlements as well as conflicts with the local Apache, we read about and then hiked the short Bonita Canyon trail to Faraway Ranch which is within the Chiricahua National Monument. Diana’s family is part of the pioneer history here. Be sure to peruse the many old photos (and recipes) in the family cookbook that Diana has placed in the guest house.

Five star all the way!
We had a wonderful, all too short stay at the cottage. It is about as close to the entrance to Chiricahua National Monument as one can get, so the location was pretty much perfect. That said, our entire stay was pretty much perfect. The cottage is spotlessly clean, very private, very comfortable. If anything, the decor and comfort is nicer than the pictures show. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, and since the nearest restaurant or grocery store is 35 or so miles away, you will want to cook! Bring groceries and enjoy: it was a perfect place to come home to after hiking in the monument. The stars at night are amazing....hubby is an amateur astronomer so we are always searching out dark skies, and the skies right at the cottage are some of the darkest we've ever seen. I give this cottage my highest recommendation. We will be back for another visit and will stay longer this time!

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful weekend. Property was clean and well stocked with necessities. Owners were nearby if needed but not intrusive. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the peace and quiet. We were there to enjoy a nearby wine celebration this time but will definitely be coming back in the future to explore the nearby mountains.

This is a gorgeous property. Diana is a real pleasure to work with and did everything to make our stay comfortable. She was always available but never intrusive. The casita is nicely furnished and has everything you need but food. It is so dry right now, but the area is beautiful. Kelsey, the dog, was a wonderful addition and went on walks with us every evening. She is always happy to see us when we returned from our days jaunts. Would definitely stay again. Diana, thank you so much for your hospitality. My daughter and I had great time.

Wonderful
What a great rental experience! This lovely guesthouse is the perfect place to stay to get to know the area. I used it as a home base to explore the Chiricahua National Monument and surrounding area. Diana is a perfect host and has obviously made great effort to provide a comfortable home-away-from-home. One of the main reasons I book rental homes is so that I can prepare my own food when traveling, and this little house is the best equipped I have ever come across--everything you need for cooking is provided except for the food itself. Loved the big shower and the comfortable bed and the sunrise/sunset views. Everything extremely clean! Hope to get back some day and share this place with my husband.
