Sloppy, outdated, loud and Not a Resort
Very sloppy place -- very rundown and not recognizable as a Hilton -- with remarkably careless and "couldn't care less" staff of which there are too many -- even though most are just standing around idle, making excuses/pleading helplessness and doing very little to be of service to the guests. Extremely loud outdoor concerts every night from 7:00 to 11:00pm such that you can not escape the noise and your room practically shakes... Lousy food, poor presentation, and inconvenient hours if you want to eat anything but hot dogs and French fries during the hours that management deemed ALL the restaurants should open...and since there's effectively NO Room Service and no shop onsite, you're stuck eating hotdogs and fries between the opening times of their restaurants. If you're looking for a rundown place with bad furnishings and poor, dim lighting that budget-conscious families who let their kids run around screaming, in between the ridiculously loud entertainment, you'll be fine.

Cons- Checking in took too long, no guidance or lines to guide those that are checking in. Kind of free for all situation. No designated areas to take your plates when finished with food. Allowed birds to stand on tables and pick on food. Meaning bird poop. Pool Bar packed don't acknowledge you're there. Sheets smelled humid. Need to go through app to put in requests rather than calling in. Sometimes requests were not addressed. Pros- Some staff were super friendly. Lots of food options at the buffet. Area/location very nice and walking distance to town. Modern rooms, good working ac, and hot water. Call outs- essential items sold at store are expensive. Make sure to take feminine hygiene products, bugs spray, and pepto, etc.

I was a little disappointed with the service beings though it is a Hilton hotel. They have an app to request services and no one would ever respond. The food in the buffet was cold everyday and not much flavor. The bbq restaurant was good but they had us waiting a half hour and there were plenty of empty tables.

I am not normally one to write reviews or complain about something, due to the fact that I am in customer service and don’t like people that do. Unfortunately, my stay was so disappointing I feel the need. First, every night they played loud music from 9-11. It was so loud that my room would shake. I was not made aware that this was going to happen. I had to be super early for excursions and could not sleep due to the noise. Second, I have never met more inhospitable staff at a hotel in my life. They were not only unfriendly, but some of them were actually rude. The front desk people were the only friendly, accommodating people in the whole hotel. The resort is supposedly 5 star. I felt at a Motel 6 the staff would be more nice and helpful. Last thing, overall the cleanliness was good except a plate they never took from my room that they put there the first night. There was mold growing on it by the time I left. I would think housekeeping would be competent enough to see that and remove it. I will never return to the Corendon. I am extremely disappointed considering it’s a 5 star Hilton hotel.

I like that the outside property was well-kept and clean. However, the dining options were slim- the daily buffet opened to sell guests throughout the day was terrible, and the food was not appetizing. There were often birds flying around the table while eating. The lines for the reserved restaurants were ridiculously long. Also, I did not have housekeeping for my entire stay of four days, which was infuriating. As a result, I had to put my dishes and used towels/clothes in the hallway, and housekeeping STILL did not collect the items until it was time for me to check out. I would not recommend this hotel.
