What a time we had at Mangrove. General dining room had good food with lots of choices and accommodating staff. Workers were always working. Entertainment was mid with a few decent nights sprinkled in. Extremely tough to get a reservation at a la carte restaurants. Need a better system for that. Clean wash cloths seems to have a shortage. Beach shoes are a non negotiable. The beach is extremely rocky although the water is calm and nice temperature. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend staying at Mangrove even with these suggestions.

The Italian specialty restaurant was out of this world. Truly amazing-best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. Had a great time and would definitely go back.

We just left after a 1 week stay. We found the staff to be largely indifferent and did not go out of their way to help or provide services. Twice the beach towel hut did not have fresh towels. The pool bar ran out of blue curacao one day. The main dinning restaurant did not get restocked regularly- it was really hard to get a reservation at the specialty restaurants so we often ended up at the main restaurant. It was a nice enough resort but truly nothing special....the little things they could have done to make the place special just were not done.

The Mangrove was a great all inclusive island resort. They have a good amount of restaurants on site to choose from and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They have a taxi company that they work with that makes transportation from the airport and around the island easy. There isn’t a free airport shuttle, but George and his Taxi team are outstanding! The private beach is so beautiful and serene. It’s a great place to relax. The resort has activities for all ages which is nice, and a good nightlife entertainment every night. I would have loved to see more activities offered during the day time for guests to participate in. Overall, I loved my stay at Mangrove and would definitely come back!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at your resort. What was meant to be a relaxing vacation quickly turned into a stressful and unsafe experience due to a series of serious issues:     •    A physical altercation broke out on the pool deck in front of guests. While staff eventually stepped in to deescalate the situation, it was still a disturbing and chaotic scene.     •    I saw rats in both the beach and pool areas — a serious sanitation and health concern that should never occur at a resort.     •    A burst pipe caused a partial ceiling collapse on our floor. This led to flooding in our room, soaking all of our belongings and making the space uninhabitable.     •    The staff on-site seemed unprepared to manage this kind of emergency. Communication was poor, and there was a general lack of guidance or support.     •    When we reported the issue, management was dismissive and refused to offer any kind of refund or meaningful compensation for the damages and distress we experienced. The conditions we encountered were not only inconvenient but dangerous. I expected much better from your resort, especially considering the price and reputation. I sincerely hope steps are taken to prevent future guests from going through something similar.

Innondation a cause de la tuyauterie principale qui a exploser, effondrement , fumer dans les corridor principale qui fait retontir les alarmes durgence et aucune explication de l'hôtel, il faut nous meme demander au gardien de securité de la gueritte quest ce quil ce passe et ce aux petites heures du matin pour ce faire dire que cest une fuite de gaz, moisissure , odeur tres elever de renfermer/moisissure/humiditer, Personnelle bete et jamais content de ce faire demander quelque chose, ce faire servir au bar oublier cela, Zero securitaire et l'hotel s'en fou compeltement et ne veux meme pas nous rembourser car nous avons du nous reloger et les enfants sont totalement traumatiser , Plus jamais, jamais , jamais, jamais

The buffet was good, a lot of variety. The specialty restaurants were okay but room for improvement. Our room was always clean. The gym was small but had the essentials. The hotel is in a good location and close to Willemstad downtown (Otrobanda and Punda). The mangrove beach is a little rocky, suggested to wear water shoes but the water was very nice and clean. The only we did not like was the water park, specifically the are for the kids. The water looked dirty. Otherwise, very nice resort.

Let me start by saying i would never go back, property is definitely NOT 4 1/2 stars, ill give 2 stars, the property needs a total makeover, roof leaks, mold on the ceiling, mold on the little refrigerator in the room, floor tile broken, holes on the walls from moving the light fixtures and they didn’t patch the holes, pigeons eating from the snack counters, check in was terrible, had two rooms one was ready second one wasn’t, they told me 15 mins and waited 40 because they had to separate the beds, finally get keys and beds still not ready, went to the front desk 4 times until the bellman helped me and did it him self even know wasn’t his job but he felt terrible, employees are not helpful they look so miserable working there. Food is the same every day and low quality. If you are looking for beautiful beach this is not the property. Never again.
