Pleasant surprise
I generally sought out local boutique hotels in my travel. Love the staff, esp Miguel. The hotel has a different vibe not like chain hotels. The rooms are nicely appointed with a giant bathroom. The landscaping felt like a luscious garden. Being inside the Kura Hulanda was a plus.

I liked it a lot because it has a very nice patio, I also liked the pool a lot. I really liked the tranquility, just what I was looking for to relax. The room was very clean and very cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in the city, you can walk to very close restaurants. The service was also good, especially from the bartender.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, quarto bom, cama confortável, banheiro bonito com chuveiro otimo. Poreeeeem…. Nao acreditem no site q diz q o cafe da manha é complementary pq nao é! E ainda por cima te falam pra ir num restaurante chamado Bario, para o café da manha… fujam disso. Nem se fosse realmente complementary. O cafe da manha é peeeeeessimo! A comida é ruim, o lugar é feio e o atendimento é da pior qualidade. Portanto, Kura botanica, se nao quiser arruinar seu negocio de hospedagem… nao indiquem a seus clientes o restaurante Bario! Melhor nao indicar lugar algum e deixar o hospede escolher…

A small downtown hotel amidst a beautiful garden. Quiet yet in the center of Willemstad overlooking the bay entrance from our room. Clean and efficient rooms, very friendly staff. We enjoyed the pool and garden and stayed there most of the time. All rooms are situated in historic buildings and have a different lay-out. The hotel is situated in a larger complex where you will find bars and restaurants and small shops. Highly recommended. We will return!

I was a little hesitant to book because there were so few google reviews compared to other hotels but we’re so glad we did. The staff is amazing. They’re so friendly and helpful. They all really went above and beyond to accommodate any needs and I really appreciated that. They had set up a nice honeymoon surprise for us, and included a really nice Valentine’s Day breakfast for all the guests. Those details make for a wonderful experience. The location is great. You can tell there are many updates that have been done improve the area. It’s in a cute and colorful neighborhood- lots of really nice restaurants within walking distance. We didn’t want to stay right in the Pietermaai downtown area since it would be noisier at night. I anticipated a much future walk to get places but that was not the case. In additional, the hotel itself is very nice. Beds were so comfortable (and actual king beds- not two twins pushed together). Bathroom was beautiful. The pool area was amazing! I did not expect it to be that large from the pictures I saw online. Lastly, the breakfast at Maria’s is included every day and was always so good. It is a very short walk from the hotel but I liked the experience of dining at an actual restaurant vs the typical continental breakfast most hotels offer. The only trouble was finding it, as it didn’t show up on maps.me (I think since they’re newer?) it was a bit difficult to find at first. We wouldn’t have figured out where to park without assistance

Geweldig adults only hotel op wandelafstand van Willemstad! Hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer Miguel. Wij hadden een juniorsuite ( tenzij upgrade) en die was geweldig, netjes en stijlvol ingericht. Klein mooi zwembad met poolbar waar je ook iets te eten kon bestellen. Het hotel is gelegen in de kura Hulanda Village, met ijsbar, restaurants en winkeltjes, heel gezellig! Ik had geen beter hotel kunnen kiezen, alles was perfect!

O hotel esta localizado / inserido em uma vila com 4 restaurantes , lojas , café , sorveteria em um ambiente super agradável , além disso esta super bem localizado , cerca de três minutos de caminhada ate a ponte . O quarto era bonito amplo e muito limpo . A área da piscina é muito bonita também . O atendimento de todos foi excelente com brilhantismo do Miguel , que fala português e esta sempre atento as demandas e cuidados com os hospedes .

Aanrader, een hotel waar je je thuis voelt!
Service is geweldig, personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het boetiekhotel is kleinschalig en erg mooi in kleurige Curaçaose stijl opgezet. Er wordt echt alles aan gedaan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Met vragen of wensen kun je altijd terecht bij de receptie. Later op de middag lekker even aan het zwembad met poolbar rondhangen waar Darrel iedere dag een heerlijke cocktail bereidde. Ligging van het hotel is perfect in Kura Hulanda Otrobanda, slechts enkele minuten lopen van de pontjesbrug en vele restaurants in de buurt. Eigen parkeerterrein voor de auto is aanwezig. Een hotel waar je je thuis voelt en een absolute aanrader.
