Nice Room - Expensive rooms ($420 - off season). We visited the Grand Canyon so wanted a convenient "In-Park" place to stay. Nice room with back deck and next to a buffet type restaurant with a good assortment of food.

You can't beat the location being only a 5 minute walk from the shuttle and Bright Angel trailhead. Woke up to Elk outside the patio door. The rooms do lack some amenities and cleanliness of a traditional hotel, but the lodge style is appreciated and enjoyed if that's what you're looking for. Limited wi-fi but excellent food options in the Maswick lodge and nearby

Stayed in the lodge closest to the canyon but furthest from the main lodge with reception. 3 minute walk to Bright Angel trail, very close and easy. 5 minutes to main lodge and dining options. We were in the North lodges which is the older area but it was fine, clean, good facilities, comfortable beds/pillows, and a safe was provided. Easy parking right outside our lodge. WiFi worked in our lodge and on the balcony. Food hall in the main lodge was reasonable quality and good prices considering they could charge a lot more. Would stay again no question.

Best part is the location in the canyon and convenience of the cafeteria style restaurant for easy access before or after hiking. . Room was similar to a motel 6 style, adequate and clean but nothing special. Staff were okay but didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic or happy in their jobs.

Despite the hotel not being at all full, they put us in a room directly in front of major early morning construction. Also the shuttle wasn't running at sunrise. No real info was given at check in. The food court food is pretty bad.

The lodge was very convenient and the room was clean, overall it is a good place to stay for the price. The negative is that the WiFi is terrible. We moved rooms because they had issues with the WiFi in the building were staying but the next day WiFi was out in the whole village. I would expect more from this huge facility.

We chose the Maswik lodge due to affordability and convenience inside of the park. The rooms were very nice, updated. The coffee maker was quite dirty, and lacked some basic kitchen amenities for the kitchenette. We stayed for two nights and no one ever came to clean the room, empty the trash or provide new towels. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in/ out was a breeze.
