Disappointing Stay
This property has been renovated but there are many things still in need of attention at the hotel to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It does not feel like a renovated property…seems dated and in need of repairs with a few new items overlayed.

I was really disappointed with our recent stay, so much so that after moving between rooms we finally just gave up and came home a day early so we didn't have to stay there. The first room had mold on the walls, the second also (not as much) but also all over the furniture and the floor and bedding was damp. I tried to turn the heat on to dry out and it set off the smoke detector. Staff was very pleasant though!

Definitely needs some repairs and upkeep. Pot holes in the parking lot, lack of security cameras inside, and a weird film over the floors. Run down tiny pool that you have to go through the basement to access. Didn’t feel the safest. Not my favorite but if you’re in a pinch it will do.

I liked that the property was close to Busch Gardens. I absolutely did not like the abandoned building next door, the lack of security cameras (especially in the elevator), the smelly sheets, the mold in the shower, the shower drainage plug was broken off and put in the back of the shower as if we wouldnt notice.

The lobby is welll done but that ends the positive items. There is only one elevator serving three floors and the garage/pool area. It is super slow making any group outing impossible. The hallways are seriously dated and the carpet appears to be from the late 1970s. The rooms are clean but also dated. The bed was awful. I could feel the springs and the pillows were musch. The bathroom was extremely small and outdated, as well our soup dish was a hazard of spikes sticking out. It is very close to Busch Gardens, so if you don't mind not sleeping this place is for you.

We only stayed 1 night so didn’t have much counteracting with any one we stayed 1 night because we can to visit bush garden and we wouldn’t make it back to Maryland after enjoying the park

First- I already alerted hotel staff and corporate. We checked in late Friday night. There was an extremely strong chemical smell when we entered our room on the 2nd floor. Air and bed linens felt damp. We thought it was cold from the ac and they probably had the carpets cleaned recently. The next morning my feet were wet when I walked on the carpet. There was a chemical/soapy film on my hands when I touched the linens and carpet. We turned the ac to 70 degrees and left for the day. When we got back at 630p the room was humid and everything was damp, including the clothes, pillows, and blanket we brought from home. Front desk let me check a room on the 1st floor but it was also damp. We left and are getting a refund from corporate for Saturday night since we didn't stay. The property is under construction and there's debris around the hotel. The rooms are partially updated, but mattresses are hard, linens are thin, and there were stains on the sheets. Go anywhere else.

Not the stay we expected. Booked a King room and were given a Queen. After going back to the front desk was told that the water wasn’t working in the room with the King. Would have been nice to know at check in so we had the option to go somewhere else. Electric outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. Two rooms around us had barking dogs. They’ve attempted to put lipstick on a pig with this hotel but they’ve fallen short. Spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere else.
