Comfort at value

The property is well maintained, very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very spacious and well appointed to the point we would have expected to pay double. We were here for a golf vacation and the location the property made it easy to reach the courses in less than 15 minutes.

We have stayed at Vacation Village in other locations such as Kissimmee and it was fabulous so we decided to try Williamsburg VA. The check in desk people were fabulous however the 2 nasty ladies in the back where we had to get our parking pass need job training in customer service. Very rude and standoffish especially when i told them we were busch gardens passholders and didnt need the tickets they were pushing. There are absolutely no life jackets for kids which os crazy and the dishes in our unit were filthy caked on food never washed from previous guests and the main tub leaked. I called the front desk and all we got was an apology no remedy

Room want cleaned thoroughly, found beer bottles under furniture and spiders under the duvet and everything is coated in fine layer of dust. The room wasn’t properly stocked, no linens were stocked for the pull-out sofa. Service was immediate to correct these things but first impression was not good.

Could have done a little better with cleaning the rooms found a piece of a candy wrapper near the bed on the floor and the units in the back could use a renovation. Paint was peeling on walls in 2nd bathroom and bathroom toilets need replacing. They sat low and hard to flush and they don't make brown toilet seats anymore. That's a sign of how old it was. Had to knock down a few webs before opening the balcony door to sit outside.
