We wern't even able to check in to this hotel because the front desk clerck couldn't get her keyboard to work. We left and went to a much nicer hotel nextdoor.

Great Stay

Friendly check-in and checkout. Our room was very clean and quiet on the third floor. The whole hotel is maintained very well and it’s very clean. Our room had an odd layout, though with the TV directly above the sofa which was odd. Beds are very comfortable and there’s a full kitchen and big bathroom, but the shower is small. Complementary wash and dryer on the 11th floor with a few of each supplied. Breakfast was great. They were scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, make your own waffles, and many other food items. Breakfast area has lots of room to sit and it’s also very well maintained. I knew about the parking ahead of time so we just parked in the parking lot on the corner of 12th and market which is $24 a night/$25.20 with the surcharge total per night. We had no issues parking there. There are garages within a block around the hotel if you would prefer that, but don’t know the charges for those. Location is convenient to see sites in the area. We found it very quiet and a safe location. Overall, we had a great nights day.

The $150 charge that I was told would come off when I checked out 4 days later I called and was told 7-10 business days. The desk clerk assumed I used a cash app card, very insulated The $25 dollar a day parking for an unsecured lot?

Stayed at the IHG in Wilmington , Delaware in August 2025.Decided on a short nearby vacation not too far from DC.Booked based on excellent reviews online. Would like to add my name to the long list of vacationers that had a wonderful stay at this location. The staff was super friendly .The hotel was clean, quiet, and serene. Breakfast was great . The hotel is pet friendly .Lots of nearby parks for the pups to take walks and sniff. Thank you staff at IHG Wilmington. We truly enjoyed our stay with our two pups and hope to be back . Keep up the good work. I give this place 5***

I would never ever stay here again. They KNOWINGLY put us in a room with a shattered window, beds were on the floor not even risen, the carpenter was stained as well as the mattress. When i demanded i new room u would have thought we were at a diff hotel. It was a standard room and it was ok but knowingly putting 5 young girls in what looked like a crack room was ridiculous!!!
