Well, hello a whole bunch of servicemen. They seemed to be the experts from some other base, traveling as a working unit, so this was not a party hotel for visitors of enlisted men. Clean, quiet, self parking, a breakfast with all the usuals -- plus the freezer had something I could eat for dinner the night we arrived, which is rare given that I can't eat wheat or dairy.

The front desk staff was EXCELLENT. We received the service of a 5-star location. The facility was clean and modern. The pool area was nice. I loved that there were multiple cabanas/lounge areas. The only thing that made the stay ok was the room. I've never stayed at a Tru before. I was surprised that the room was very small. There was only one chair. No closet no drawers of any type. The bathroom was large, which was a plus, but the squeeze bottles for hand soap, lotion, shampoo etc was made for persons who have very good hand strenght. I understand it probably saves money, but there must be a better design to use. Also, we had a late start one morning and asked for house keeping, who came before 10 to come back later. They did not. They ended up returning after being asked to do so by the front desk the day before we left. That was not ideal.

Very accommodating staff and newer impressive hotel, loved the convenience of a great restaurant in the hotel. The only disappointment was the bathroom wasn’t clean and had to move to three different rooms.
