Beverly was so welcoming and friendly when we got to the guest house, she made us feel so welcoming and was very informative on things and places we can go to in lake district. Breakfast was tasty and all staff members were so organised!. We will definitely be booking again.

Nice guest house with a good breakfast. Located close to the local towns and the staff were very friendly. Never stayed in a guest house before, was very quiet.

Such an amazing and clean property. The breakfast was delicious. The property is walkable to downtown and the lake as well, just 10 minutes each way. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely little guesthouse
Lovely stay at the Coppice Guesthouse. Very clean & breakfasts superb. The owners Neil & Beverley were so nice & helpful with advice on things to do & places to go - would totally recommend the Coppice.

A nice friendly place
On arrival the host was very friendly and full of good local knowledge, she changed our room so we could be on the ground floor as my wife has a bad knee, extra cost £75 for both nights. Bed was tired in my opinion, I was very surprised that the towels were not changed or bed linen done. Breakfast was very good and a good choice, parking on site.

We have stayed at The Coppice before and knew what to expect friendly staff, delicious food, comfortable stay and ideal location for what we wanted to do! We will go back again! Should anyone wish to visit The Coppice as an extra I would use Ace Taxi service as they certainly were ace!

Wonderful guest house
Lovely place to stay. Easy walk to Bowness or Windermere. Car parking on the grounds. Rooms are lovely, nice and warm n the winter. Breakfast is fantastic and the owners are the most welcoming hosts you could wish to meet. You could not ask for a better place from qhich to explore the lakes.

This was a home from home. We were greeting by Beverley and she helped us with the best locations for eating and walking etc. Our room was lovely. The bed was comfortable and good quality linen. Breakfast was superb. Chosen the night before made you look forward to what you were having and after all that fresh air, you’re looking forward to it! We only wished we could have stayed longer. I said it was like “staying at your Aunty Beverley’s house”. We know now this is the only place we will stay. We’re already planning our next visit.
