The property is nicely appointed .. feels warm & homely. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated- the bathroom had the shampoo, conditioners & shower gel. We also had breakfast on premises - they were both pretty good.

Fabulous guest house, very friendly staff. We arrived before check in and our room.was ready. Room was lovely & clean, big fluffy towels in the shower room. Had a lovely view from the windows. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended

Stayed here before, lovely staff, comphy beds clean, brilliant breakfast very hot an not long to wait for it an made to order, , the've extended it since we went 3yrs ago, lots of car space parking, quite,great situated 10 t 15mins to Windermere town and 30 t 35mins to Bowness walking, theres a bus stop wright out side every 20mins number 559, will defo stay again.

Our stay was wonderful.. The only thing I will point out is that the shower stall drain was somewhat plugged. Pefect location & wonderful breakfasts!!

Enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel, ideally located between Windermere and Bowness. Ideally they could do with going round with a feather duster (if they’re still legal) to get rid of the cobwebs in the passageways and ceilings. Breakfast was lovely, a perfectly fried egg, beautifully cooked bacon and local Cumberland sausage. The only other minor point would be our room was underneath another and you could hear the creaking in the ceiling when they were walking around. Other than that. Would stay here again.

Thought it was going to be a bit nearer town centre I use a stick and roller aid but I still had to go out every day in car I just to bad to do the walk hotel was nice clean breakfast fantastic all in all worked out alright in the end

Lovely guest house, unfortunately the room above us has squeak floors and they were very early risers so from 6am we could hear them walking about. Very nice breakfast staff very helpful and friendly. We would stay again but ask not to be in room 16.
