Family Getaway - Opposite Warilla Beach

Summary:
Welcome to our Beach House, right opposite the Warilla Surf Lifesaving Club and an entrance to Warilla Beach. The property was renovated within the last few years and it is your perfect opportunity to stay in a huge family friendly home for up to 10 guests with water glimpses.

The Space:
This spacious and well-equipped home offers everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

On the ground floor, you’ll find two bedrooms overlooking the backyard, both with direct access to a combined laundry, shower, and toilet. At the front of the house, there’s a rumpus room, entry area, and a double garage available for guest use. A spiral staircase with childproof gates at both ends connects the ground floor to the first floor.

Upstairs, the front features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area, which opens onto a veranda with lovely water glimpses. At the rear, there are two standard bedrooms with built-in robes that share a bathroom with a toilet, shower and bathtub. Additionally, there’s a third bedroom, complete with a private bathroom, shower, toilet, walk-in wardrobe, and a baby cot. All bedrooms are designed for convenience and comfort, with built-in wardrobes.

The property includes many thoughtful features, such as a childproof clothes chute in the upstairs hall, making laundry a breeze, and zoned reverse-cycle ducted air conditioning for comfortable living across both levels. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including an oven, stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Free Wi-Fi and a modern TV are available for your entertainment.

Outdoor amenities include a backyard with two tables that can seat up to 12 guests, along with 12 chairs, three small low tables, and two shade umbrellas. A BBQ is provided for convenience. There is also an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after beach outings.

Safety is a priority, with fire blankets and a fire extinguisher on-site. This home is thoughtfully designed for families and groups, combining comfort, functionality, and style for a memorable stay.

Guests will have access to the entire property including the double garage

The Neighborhood:
Obviously, you would not be considering our Beach House unless you were attracted to the BEACH. It took the owners 7 years of constant looking to find the Beach House they believe offers non-repeatable beach/water opportunities. And here are some of them: -

- The Surf Club (right opposite our Beach House) is in the middle of a "cove". Within walking distance to the north is Windang Island which is connected to the beach by a causeway. And to the south within walking distance is Little Creek.
- In between the Surf Club and Windang Island to the north and the Surf Club and Little Creek to the south, the Surf Club man's patrols. At the front of the Surf Club the surf is its biggest, -the further north or south you go the smaller the surf becomes. Good for beginners.
- North of the Surf Club they do, wind surfing, para surfing and free and scuba diving near Windang Island,- all within walking distance from the Surf Club.
- There is great fishing on either side of the Surf Club and also off Windang Island which "juts" into the ocean. Even if you do not like fishing Windang Island is quite spectacular.
- To the south of the Surf Club you have Little Creek. The Creek is tidal and about 400mm to 700mm deep. The effect near the mouth of the creek is to create small waves. This is where you can take the very young to learn to surf and swim. Adults also go to the Creek to learn to Paddle Board.
- If you wish to swim or fish in still water, again within walking distance, you can walk north to Lake Illawarra. Running along the beach of Lake Illawarra there is a Council maintained public park containing playing areas for children. The walkway you use runs parallel with the ocean then turns west along the lake. This walkway continues for kilometres along the lake. Very popular with the local walking and bike clubs.
- At the "beach side" of the Surf Club there is a Café which serves breakfast and light lunches with great coffee. The salmon is highly recommended!
- Naturally there are numerous restaurants and clubs in the general area. Windang Bowling Club have a great menu at a very reasonable price.
- The Waterfront Marina is located within an 8-minute drive with numerous cafes and restaurants, Woolworths, ice creamery, Boardwalk and a kids beach
- Warilla Grove Shopping Centre - a short drive or long walk from our Beach House

Other things to do,-

Jamberoo Fun Park, Scuba Diving at Beauty Cove, The Blow Hole at Kiama, stunning lookouts, Go-Karting, 2 Movie Complexes, Visit Berry - old historical town, Stockland Shopping Centre, Golf at Port Kembla Golf Club, and many other things.

- This property has a narrow tiled staircase with winders at the landing
- This property is not zoned for the charging of Lithium Ion Batteries on the property or in the home

Please be advised that we strictly enforce a no-noise party policy. Our home is situated in a tranquil neighborhood with permanent residents nearby, therefore, we regretfully cannot accommodate "hens/bucks" parties or "schoolies" bookings. Our space is ideally suited for families or friend getaways seeking a peaceful retreat. Linen and bath towels are provided for all guests, with beds pre-made for your convenience. Please remember to bring your own beach towels.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.
