Upgraded Oceanfront 3BR Condo in WrightsvilleDunes

On December 11, 2024 we became aware that the elevator in this building will begin annual routine maintenance on January 2nd that may cause the elevator to be unavailable to guests. It is possible that you may experience unpleasant environmental factors such as noise or vibrations during your stay. Please contact our office for additional information or updates regarding the planned maintenance and we will be happy to collect information from the HOA. We deeply regret the inconvenience but appreciate your kind understanding that these factors are not under the control of the homeowners or our management company.  Please enjoy your visit and keep a respectful distance around areas where workers or machines are present.

“Kroger” is an immaculate first floor condo in the Wrightsville Dunes complex and is a Sterling Edition building which includes an exterior security entrance. This condo features 3-bedrooms, 3-bathrooms, and spectacular ocean views. Spend your vacation overlooking the white sandy beach or relaxing poolside in a chaise lounge. Enjoy three private beach accesses, pristine manicured grounds, a commercial elevator, and the spectacular sunset views over the marsh. This condo is the perfect location for your next family vacation!

The beautifully remodeled kitchen boasts granite countertops, tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and a wine chiller. Everything you need to cook a family meal is included and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean in the background makes a perfect setting while preparing meals. An open concept living space creates a wonderful gathering space for families to enjoy one another’s company. Plush living room furniture lends itself to family movie night after a long day of fun in the sun. The ocean front covered balcony can be accessed from both the living area and primary bedroom.

A spacious primary suite overlooks the ocean and provides access to the ocean front deck. The ensuite bathroom features dual sinks, a walk-in shower, a private water closet, and large garden tub. Two guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms ensure that your travel companions will enjoy the same level of privacy. A queen bedroom overlooks the sound and has direct access to a full bathroom that has shared entry with the main hall. The twin guest room also has sound views and a private bathroom.

The complex offers ground level storage for all your beach equipment and the beach is conveniently accessed by private walkways. You’ll feel like you have the whole beach to yourself! The Wrightsville Dunes complex requires all vehicles to display an HOA issued parking pass while parked on the property to avoid citation. All reservations year round will require parking passes which will be issued to the reservation holder at the time of check in. Seasonal parking fees will apply for stays that occur between March 1 and October 31 and cost may vary based on the length of stay. Fees are intended to be included in the quoted price if applicable for your reservation. However, based on length of stay, arrival and departure dates, or booking channel method used to secure the reservation fees may require manual adjustment by the agent. Although rare, should this occur, the agent may request to be paid directly after confirming your reservation. Passes are strictly enforced and limited to two per rental unit; no exceptions can be made.

Parking: On-site parking for 2 vehicles. One designated space allocated for the unit and one for an unassigned parking spot that is first come first serve.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Enjoyed the stay
We enjoyed our stay. The property description was accurate, clean and quiet. I would have preferred to be a tad bit closer to the beach. While my young adult kids went, trekking all of our stuff was not appealing to me. My husband and I opted to stay on the balcony. The trade off for the distance to beach was balcony was private and quiet. That was nice and relaxing. This property was advertised as recently upgraded. The kitchen is beautiful. appealing to me.

Great location!
At check in, we were not given the code to access the building. We were only given the digital code for the unit itself. We had to call the after hours phone line to get access to the building. Once in the property, everything was OK for the most part with 2 exceptions. First, the deadbolt lock on the sliding glass door was broken and fell off. Not too much of a safety concern since we were on the middle floor, but it made it nearly impossible to use the door. The biggest inconvenience was the king mattress in the master bedroom. Not sure if there were no box springs or just a cheap mattress. Either way, the mattress was a bowl. The mattress rolled into the middle and also caused our feet to be above our head. We had to prop pillows throughout the bed to make it seem flat. We both left the vacation with sore backs. For over $1200 for 2 nights (it was our 10-year wedding Anniversary) we expected to be comfortable. It's a shame too because everything else about the unit was perfect!

Beautiful spot on wonderful Wrightsville Beach
This house was great for a girl's getaway! The only thing I was disappointed in was that one of the bedrooms had 2 twin beds. The place is clean and in a great location. You practically have the beach to yourself on that end of the WB.

Great property and quiet location. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely consider it again! The kitchen is very well stocked as are extra blankets and pillows. A very slight request/recommendation would be to include instructions on working the televisions and thermostats. It took a while to figure out that there was Roku capability amongst all the random remotes in the living room and master bedroom. And the thermostat could not be adjusted past a 2 hr hold. Other than those two minor details, everything else was wonderful!

The unit was nice and clean with a beautifully remodeled kitchen and master bathroom. Hard flooring throughout was a big plus, easy to keep clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Outdoor furniture was very nice. Beds were comfortable. The property itself is in a great location on a fairly quiet stretch of beach. It is well-maintained. There are two swimming pools which were also nice and clean. The only let-downs were that the towels were very cheap and small (think gym towels), no beach towels available. Also the living room furniture is clean, but worn out and uncomfortable. There also should be TVs in the second and third bedrooms. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would definitely be happy to rent this unit again.

The right condo makes all the difference
As my aunt and uncle were joining us on this beach trip our requirements for a vacation rental were pretty specific - we couldn't stay a whole week, we're beach people - my aunt prefers a pool, needed an elevator, needed two bedrooms and a two baths, wanted beachfront and a covered patio, wanted private beach access and onsite parking. This rental met all these while exceeding our expectations. The location is just about perfect - close enough to get to restaurants and groceries but far enough north to avoid crowds and traffic. With the private beach access we were able to carve out a little area on the beach without waking up at the crack of dawn and being crowded and everyone was very good about keeping their distance. The pool are was clean and well kept - the pool attendant was personable and friendly. The unit was clean, quiet and well furnished. The kitchen had just about everything we could need for meal prep. The ocean views from the living room and master bedroom are the show stopper - just fantastic. The linen package provided was great - loved that it included two dish towels and a dish sponge. I noted some comments about the beds in previous reviews. My aunt (who had the master) could not say enough about how comfortable the bed was and my husband and I found the queen to be comfortable as well. There are extra pillows in the closets so you should be able to find one to suit you. All four of us were very, very happy with this condo (no small feat) and would rent again in the future without any reservation. On the very minor list of suggestions I would make to the owner: a fan in the queen bedroom would be a nice addition, I wish the patio chairs sat a little higher so the railing wouldn't be in eye line when sitting and the other bathrooms outside the master could be updated but everything worked just fine. This really is a great condo and we loved our stay. Also the check in process was super easy!
