The hotel, its staff, and its breakfast were all excellent.
The refrigerator was smaller than the normal hotel refrigerator, and did not work very well. Normally, this is not a problem, but it would have been nice to have truly cold water to drink during this unusual heatwave.
The hotel is centrally located, which is great, but not at night when the weather is hot, due to two cafe/bars directly across the street which are open into the wee hours, plus lots of idiots who like to cruise around demonstrating that their automobile muffler is in desperate need of replacement. The hotel windows, when closed, do an excellent job of entirely blocking the noise. But if you are booked in a room on the street side during an unusually hot summer night that requires open windows to avoid sweating completely through the pillow as I did, I recommend that you bring earplugs so you can open the windows and use the fan. Then, you will be absolutely fine, because this truly is a very nice place to stay.
