Very nice staff and a very quiet atmosphere. However , there seems to be little pride in caring for the facility. Things are dirty (for example, the top of the microwave oven and the top of the refrigerator in our room had not been dusted for a long time), the paint job is poorly done, carpets are frayed. The box springs on our bed was torn open and there was a large swath of paint on the room curtains. The woman in charge of the breakfast area was very nice, but the selection was poor. There was no instrument to take the waffle out of the waffle-maker. The attendant said, “We used to have a fork for that, but I think someone threw it in the trash, so we just have to make do.” We slept well because of the quietness, but much was not up to par in spite of the room being less expensive than other local facilities.

It was such a relief to arrive here after a day of heavy, heavy traffic on the highway. The front desk was so cheerful and welcoming. The room was very clean and quiet, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well (more kudos to the staff for the cheerfulness).

The room was quiet. Working the HVAC system was a challenge. Couldn’t regulate the temperature. Bed was very hard as were the pillows. Not comfortable for a side sleeper. Black dust on the ceiling from the AC unit. Doubtful we’ll seek out a La Quinta in the future. Front desk person was very friendly and accommodating.

Place is a total dump. Beds had black hair and pretzels. We didnt have either...gross place. Should have slept in car. Crossing our fingers we don't pick up bugs of some sort...
