I stayed at Court Hotel in Shin-Yokohama for my business trip that required me to travel using bullet tains. Location of the hotel is very convenient with plenty of meal options and convenience stores. Anyone could go inside the hotel using the elevators, but this is Japan, so I felt safe. There were less tourists compared to Shinagawa and Shin-Osaka hotels where I stayed during the budiness trip. It is an old building but the room.was very clean. Ceiling in the bathroom is very low so if you are very tall compared to average Japanese size, you would be uncomfortable. Only disappointment I had was that the toilet's washlet nozzle was filthy and looked like it was never cleaned. Coming from overseas, I often was hot during my stay in Japan at the end of October. Having A/C until it got cold ourside then it turned yo heating) and being able to open the window to air out were a plus!

Court hotel Shin-Yokohama
Nice and quiet hotel, perfectly place close to Shin-Yokohama train station and subway. Short walk to Nissan Stadium, for concerts or football. Friendly staff, clean rooms, smoking rooms available. Nice breakfast buffet too. Only negative, very poor wifi Internet. Couldn't get much work done on my laptop.

Welcome to Japan, circa 1970. That’s about what it feels like. This place is really dingy and very dated, and obviously the slumlords that own it are investing as little money and effort in maintaining it as possible…I honestly can’t recommend staying here, at any price.

For the amount you pay, you get so much value from this hotel. There’s no bells and whistles, and it’s not a fancy, glitzy hotel, but it’s very clean, comfortable, and the staff are wonderful. Great value and overall wonderful experience.

Carpet outside the room had some type of brown food(?) that was there for the full stay as was some ramen spill on the carpet below the microwave on 5th floor. Dont they vacuum? Room is old and small.
