We love this hotel, this is our second stay and now our go to hotel in York! The location is great and the service fantastic. Both occasions we have booked a premium room with breakfast and it definitely has not disappointed!

An ok hotel, breakfast was very uninspiring (apparently £20 if you paid on the day!). Had English breakfast on day one, bacon wasn't cooked enough and one sausage and hash brown!

Hotel was clean and convenient but a few annoying issues. When checking in I was informed the room was ready and was advised to park car first. When I returned to the hotel 5 minutes later, my room had been given to someone else so we had to wait for alternative room. Food in the restaurant was terrible - no wonder they made you pay before receiving the food!! Had an electrician enter the room to check electrics while we there - could have waited til room was vacated?

Not worth the money
A really disappointing stay. The rooms air con did not work and it happened to be a stifling hot day . Supplier with a broken fan that voulr not supprt its own weight so did not sleep a wink. Breakfast was poor. Warm juice, warm continental, full english was taken from a hot plate and was stale. Had suspected food poisoning after eating breakfast and have not eaten 36 hours later
